Tonight (Belarus time), one beauty will be crowned Miss Supranational 2013 at the Sport’s Palace of Minsk. Who will the lucky woman be? After repeated reviews of the contenders, I’ve managed to whittle down the list to my Top 20. They are:
Now, the tougher part is to trim the 20 to just the Top 5. Anything can really happen here. The only thing that is next to certainty is the placement of host delegate Veronika Chachina in the magic circle.
Gut feel tells me that our Mutya Datul will make it this far. To forecast a #1 rank for her is a totally different thing, though. The field is not the easiest to size up. But it is very likely that – together with Sally Lindgren of Sweden, Esma Voloder of Australia and Camille Rene of France – she will have an equal chance of grabbing the title.
My Top 5
Let’s see what the results will show after the coronation wraps up.
Stay tuned! 😉
Mutya's best shining moment so far!
Sweden, Philippines, Moldova and Puerto Rico make up the first recipients of Special Awards in MS2013.
And the battle has started.
Four special awards were handed out during an official pre-pageant activity of Miss Supranational 2013 at the National Beauty School in Minsk, where our very own Mutya Datul bagged the Miss Supranational Personality sash.
It was told that voting for the said citation was very close between her and Miss Myanmar. But in the end, it cannot be denied that Miss Philippines shines like a breath of fresh air everywhere she goes, especially during the individual presentations in swimsuits and evening gowns.
The other awardees are Sally Lindgren of Sweden for Miss Supranational Elegance, Valeria Donu of Moldova for Miss Supranational Top Model and Desiree del Rio of Puerto Rico for Miss Supranational Photogenic.
Way to go, Mutya! 😀
