It’s going to be down to the wire for at least three (3) candidates for the title of Miss Globe 2015. While I have already installed Miss Philippines Ann Colis as the top seed going into the homestretch, this is still a competition where a couple of surprises could be in store. Two Europeans, in fact. Four if you want to stretch things further.
The way I see it, Miss Poland Agnieszka Wasilewska is the biggest thorn in our representative’s way. She could spoil things celebratory for the Filipinos so Ann had better be super ready for her. Alternatively, there is also Miss Lithuania Elana Rackute who just might also be able to pull the rug from right under the two top seeds.
Just to spice things up a bit more, let’s add Miss Czech Republic Sarna Karnetova and Miss Estonia Kaari-Ann Kolk into the mix. My gut feel is that the organizers have a soft spot for the four (4) ladies standing in the way of things for Miss Philippines.
But in the end, Ann Lorraine Colis should be the rightful winner. Not only will a potential victory spell an instant surge in popularity for Miss Globe everywhere, it will also give the organizers extra room to prepare for a more prestigious 2016 edition as a result. So there. It’s Ann Colis all the way for your blogger! 😀
