Instead of putting down the creations that did not sit well with me, I opted to focus on the five (5) numbers that made me sit still and be awe-inspired by the execution poured into each one.
Without a doubt, my #1 favorite is Jennifer Aniston’s nude Versace gown. This one is something that makes me want to walk the hundred meters or so while garbed in a formal attire that would bring out the sexiness without crossing the borders of poor taste. The color reminds me of a richly-textured, coffee-flavored Italian gelato that looks deceivingly simple at first glance, but with enough details to make people talk about the same throughout the proceedings.
Lupita Nyong’o in Calvin Klein is another favorite. It can make any wearer feel extra beautiful. The top is simply fab, and her short hair made the whole ensemble stand out even more. On the other hand, the very classic Tom Ford worn by Reese Witherspoon is something I would want to wear with Prince Charming beside me. It is clean and uber elegant. Not a show-stopper, but a definite A-list qualifier.
If red is my mood for the night, then the Givenchy original on Rosamund Pike’s body is something that would literally bring out the fire in me, but in a very classy way. It can make a bold statement but with refinement sewn all over. And last but not the least, Emma Stone’s lime green Elie Saab is a definite eye-catcher. The details are a sight to behold from a distance and amazingly intricate up close. Love it.
How about you, dear readers? Who are your picks? 🙂
