Miss Universe Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach on the cover of Rogue Magazine’s June 2016 issue
I’m giving you an overload of Miss Universe Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach. But this one is just too sizzling to miss. Rogue Magazine’s June 2016 issue has her on the glossy cover. And you would think that she is the last one you will find splashed on its attention-grabbing front image. Not in this day and age. Tasteful is the word. And with the right concept and styling, it sure will look expensive. And appropriate.
Anyways, the issue will detail the Fifty (50) Most Influential Filipinas Online. And who else would qualify for the #1 spot except Queen P? She simply has the honor – lock, stock and barrel.

Miss World Philippines 2014 Valerie Weigmann inside the pages of Rogue Magazine June 2014 issue, a couple of months before winning the title.
And we have our 2nd Senti Special for today, July 19.
Since planning for Miss World Philippines 2015 should be back to the drawing boards – hopefully in a month’s time – I thought of featuring Valerie Weigmann before she actually won the title last year. The cover shoot she did with Photographer Mark Nicdao for Rogue Magazine was scheduled to coincide with her anticipated pageant joining then, and also to drum up the much-needed excitement with the candidacy. If I remember correctly, it was also around this time last year when she became more pro-active with Musikaramay – the street music activity that helped source funds for her Beauty With A Purpose project for the indigenous Aeta families in Mayantoc, Tarlac.
But enough of the small details for now. Time to re-appreciate Val in her best and brightest elements as a model. Watch the video below which quickly followed the release of the cover issue containing her abundant photo spread on the inside pages.
Miss World 2013 Megan Young is on the cover of Rogue Magazine's Entertainment Issue 2014
Miss World 2013 Megan Young returns to the cover of the same magazine that made her controversial right in the middle of Miss World competitions in Bali last year. Remember her first photoshoot with Rogue Magazine that was used by many intrigue-starting individuals from Manila to London? They wanted to discredit our Queen who was fast becoming the top favorite to be crowned. But to their dismay, the planned demolition job fell on deaf ears. When the organization likes you, they really express it in more ways than one.
And just to show that Megan is not harboring any kind of bitterness to the publication, she has once more agreed to grace the cover in a relatively tamer pose, but already daring as a Miss World winner about to crown her successor in just under 48 hours.
Buy your latest copy of Rogue Magazine. You won’t be disappointed. 😉
The collected images of Valerie Weigmann above and left are from the collection of Designer Vania Romoff which shows her in style and sophistication. There’s more from where the photos came from but I chose the best ones.
Fitness-wise, our beauty is in the middle of her non-stop gym training with John Cuay. And by the look of the schedule the latter has prepared, the program is really for the strong-willed.
And just to balance things off, allow me to share her sexiness and sensuality by watching the hot video clip below featuring Behind the Scenes footages of Valerie Weigmann’s Rogue Magazine photoshoot with Mark Nicdao.
Along with the hot Mark Nicdao photoshoot of Valerie Weigmann for Rogue Magazine’s June 2014 issue, she also revealed in the accompanying interview about her upcoming plans of finally enlisting for Miss World Philippines 2014.
Valerie said in that interview that “The idea of joining became something like an open goal. I felt I was ready so I said sure, why not. Especially since I like the whole beauty with a purpose advocacy of Miss World, just the idea of training for it didn’t seem so bad.”
And we are all so ready for you, Val. I say, bring it on! 😀

Valerie on the inside page
Today is Independence Day. In the Philippines, that is. And independence also means liberation. And liberation means freedom.
And Valerie Weigmann on the cover of Rogue Magazine’s June 2014 issue is as free and liberating as having her Mark Nicdao-photographed images (shot on location in Coron, Palawan) displayed all over the important inside pages of the glossy publication.
Some of you might say that this could be a risky move on Valerie’s part, considering that she is preparing for Miss World Philippines 2014 and all. But for as long as everything is done tastefully and with no raunchiness whatsover, I actually think it is a step in the right direction. At the same time, she is creating the kind of splash that traipses somewhere between beauty and artistry as compared to the first time when she did a more skin-revealing cover shoot for the same. And she has never looked lovelier, sexy on a global scale even.
Her face tends to remind your blogger of Bianca Araneta
First off, the beautiful lady you can see in the photo above is a Fil-Canadian who goes by the name of Olivia Medina. She has been in the Philippines for a few years now where she started a modeling career that has steadily grown in leaps and bounds. But when she landed her first magazine cover locally, it was for Rogue. The photos are sexy and daring, for sure. Much too risque for Bb. Pilipinas. But do I see Miss World Philippines keeping a more open mind on the same?

They look like sisters, no?
Is she too Canadian for your taste? Or will she make an interesting successor to Miss World Philippines 2013 Megan Young? 🙂
Isabelle Daza on the May 2012 cover of Rogue Magazine
The photoshoot was nearly stopped by the cover girl’s mother. As a result, the concept was adjusted to show less skin and more of graphic details. And just when everyone thought things were already fine, a rift between mother and daughter expectedly ensued to fuel more fire to the already brewing controversy (sort of). All in a few days’ worth of drama for the May 2012 issue of Rogue Magazine.
Isabelle Daza, daughter of 1969 Miss Universe Gloria Diaz, is yummily bedecked in white and splashed with blood in a Dexter-ish pose complete with a murderous butcher knife and a beauty queen’s crown to complete the pose. The end result sets a trend-setting cover that veered away from the usually edgy dolled-up sexiness men’s magazines are known for. And I love it! 😀
Work: Print and Commercial Model; ex-Pinoy Big Brother Teen Edition 2008 housemate
The excitement for Binibining Pilipinas 2012 is really starting to heat up. And why not? Coming from the impressive performance of our beauty queens this year, there is particular interest in the 2012 edition because the Philippines has to sustain the placement record.
In comes Valerie Weigmann. You may remember her as one of the housemates in ABS-CBN’s Pinoy Big Brother Teen Edition last 2008. She did not win that one, but was given by the network a string of small TV projects. Unfortunately, her star did not shine bright enough to become a celebrity of major reckoning. She went into modelling. And this is where her beautiful face started to get noticed by advertisers. What followed were TV commercials for C2 Green Tea and Myra Vita-White, with more to come.

Given Valerie’s nicely-tempered Fil-German mix and good height, will she step up to the plate for Binibining Pilipinas 2012? And if she does, do you think she has what it takes to win one of the crowns? I think she has great potentials that can be enhanced with further training and polish. My first of two worries (if this can indeed be considered as one) is her previous photoshoot (watch video above) with Rogue Magazine where she posed topless (although only her bare back was facing the camera) on the cover. And here’s my bigger worry…and this could be the nail in the coffin so to speak. She is a contracted endorser of Century Properties – something that would spell conflict of interest against the centerpiece property development – Manhattan Garden City – of the Aranetas.
And don’t go suggesting that she tries her luck in Miss World Philippines instead because there will be another problem. SM Development Corporation is a major backer of the pageant.
If you happen to see the December 2011 issue of Rogue Magazine, you will be mildly shocked after seeing the beautiful Georgina Wilson practically topless with only the digits of “50” strategically covering her nipples. If that’s not enough, there is an alternate cover showing her au naturel with the horns of a bull hiding her privates. Hot!
What does this all mean for her? Well, for starters, she has already surrendered any chance of joining the Binibining Pilipinas with the release of these photos. Not a big loss anyway, since she has not expressed any interest at all in becoming a beauty queen, let alone signing up as a candidate.
So what say you, dear readers? Does this bold move change your perception of Georgina? 🙂
Hi! Norman here. When I'm not working, I spend most of my free time planning on daily blogs. If you will notice, I always make sure that a fresh topic comes out everyday - not an easy thing to do but it's all good. Thanks for dropping by and enjoy the visit!
