Another lady who is being rumored to join Miss Universe Philippines 2022 is Katrina Llegado who reigned as Reina Hispanoamericana Filipinas 2019. She was actually the last among our Queens to actually represent the Philippines just shortly before the pandemic brought the whole world to its knees. Last February 2020, she travelled to Bolivia for Reina Hispanoamericana 2019/2020 where she finished as Quinta Finalista.
Now that all her commitments to Miss World Philippines Organization have already been served, time to widen her pageant horizons. And I wouldn’t be surprised to see her screening next month for MUPh.
Tonight in Sta. Cruz, Bolivia (or tomorrow morning at 10am here in Manila), the Grand Finals of Reina Hispanoamericana will begin at the Salon Siriono Fexpocruz with the 29 Official Candidates vying to become the next winner after the reigning Nariman Battikah of Venezuela.
Our very own Reina Hispanoamericana Filipinas Katrina Llegado is giving her absolute best in the competition and hopes to do the country proud in her quest. She will be wearing a Pablo Mendez III evening gown – not the one pictured above but something more ethereal to make her look like a heavenly beauty onstage.
Let us keep on cheering our bet. You can still show your support by liking her official photo on social media so she can also pull up ahead in this important segment of the entire pageant.

In the meantime, below are photos from the National Costume presentation at the Carnaval Boulevard where Katrina made it as one of the Top 5 Finalists. She wore a Rocky Gathercole creation.
Reina Hispanoamericana Filipinas Katrina S. Llegado was a finalist in the National Costume Competition of Reina Hispanoamericana where she wore an Ibong Adarna ensemble by Designer Rocky Gathercole with heels by Jojo Bragais and the assistance of Pablo Galicia Mendez III and Moderna Filipinas Fabrica.
Our Reina is indeed a colorful vision in this costume!
Tonight, Reina Hispanoamericana Filipinas Katrina S. Llegado boarded Philippine Airlines PR126 that will bring her to New York. From there, she will connect to the flight en route to Sta. Cruz, Bolivia where she will begin the once-interrupted journey to the Reina Hispanoamericana crown.
This time, our Reina is super prepared. And she will give it one hell of a fight!
#ReinaHispanoamericanaFilipinas2019 Katrina S. Llegado has more time to prepare for her international competition. The organizers of Reina Hispanoamericana have officially confirmed that the 2019 edition has now been moved to February, 2020, with the finals set for February 8 in Sta. Cruz, Bolivia.
Hi! Norman here. When I'm not working, I spend most of my free time planning on daily blogs. If you will notice, I always make sure that a fresh topic comes out everyday - not an easy thing to do but it's all good. Thanks for dropping by and enjoy the visit!
