Even before the COVID-19 Pandemic affecting more than 130 countries in the world today, cleanliness and proper hygiene are already musts in our daily living. It doesn’t require a medical professional or other healthcare workers to constantly remind everyone of the importance of frequent hand-washing. And now that the regular rubbing alcohols and hand sanitisers continue to be hoarded and out of stock everywhere, it leaves us with using the next best alternative and a more economical pair at that – soap and warm water.
According to an article written by Manal Mohammed of the University of Westminster, “Washing with warm water and soap remains the gold standard for hand hygiene and preventing the spread of infectious diseases. Washing with warm water (not cold water) and soap removes oils from our hands that can harbour microbes.”
Come to think of it, soap has always been our go-to solution in keeping our entire body clean – even the face I might add. And with a herbal soap, the results can be more effective because herbs contain natural antibacterial properties that work better than antibiotic chemicals. Psalmtre’s New Placenta Soap has all that and more. The product also provides whitening and anti-aging effect for the skin. More importantly, it is safe to use everyday.
New Placenta soap (and its other products) has been trusted by consumers for more than two decades now. The good thing is that it has two variants more suited for women (one with Papaya Extract and another one with Goat’s Milk) and New Placenta for Men (with Vitamin E and Korean Ginseng Extract).
Give it a try, just like its celebrity and pageant endorsers (like Stephany Stefanowitz, Mutya Datul and Alannis Reign Binoya) who swear to the effective results. I have also been using it at home for several years now. You won’t be disappointed.
A man of few words he is not. That, in a nutshell, is my first impression of Mister Grand International 2017 Michaelangelo Skyllas from Australia. During the Presscon – held earlier at St. Nicholas Restaurant in Mandaluyong – to formalize his entry to Psalmstre as its latest Placenta for Men brand endorser, this 19 year-old bartender from Sydney had a lot of things to say the minute he got into the groove of our one-on-one interview set-up. And it’s all good. He strongly feels that he thinks ahead of his real age, and prefers to talk about a variety of subject matters with older people more than those in his age bracket.
Angelo – who is 100% Greek and moved to Down Under when he was already 15 – does not hide the fact his entry into the pageant world is something that took him a long time to digest. But when he finally landed in Manila to represent Australia in the inaugural edition of the male competition he won last month, it dawned on him that this could be the chance to make something big out of himself. He is willing to try his luck in Manila for possible career opportunities after the New Year, and who knows where to after.

Earlier this afternoon, Mr. World 2016 1st Runner-Up Fernando Alvarez of Puerto Rico was honored in a Presscon hosted by Psalmstre Enterprises Inc (PEI) for its brand ambassador of Placenta for Men. With PEI Head Jaime Acosta and Marketing Manager Maryo Copon heading the activity, several members of the media from entertainment and pageant showed up to ask a variety of questions as well as to appreciate the hunky presence of the handsome Puerto Rican who is on his 4th visit in the country.
This time around, Fernando will do more than just appear in print ads and billboards. He will undergo intense lessons to learn how to speak Tagalog with the mid-term objective of getting a big break in one of our teleseryes or perhaps the movies. And given his drive to succeed, I bet we will see more of him in the weeks to come with a gradual knowledge of conversational Tagalog already being put into good use.
By the way, Fernando already enjoys classifying himself as a “Pinoy-Rican” by now. He loves the Philippines so much that he already considers it his 2nd home.
Sandwiched by Mister Universal Ambassador 2016 2nd Runner-Up Andrea Biondo and Mr. World 2016 1st Runner-Up Fernando Alvarez, your blogger is happy being.
P.S. Mister Universal Ambassador 2016 2nd Runner-Up Andrea Biondo (from Gentlemen of the Philippines) also attended the same presscon. He will also become one of the signed brand ambassadors of Placenta for Men soon! 🙂
