It’s common knowledge now that #Binibini3 Muriel Adrienne Isidore Orais is the face of Philippine Airlines in the “Heart of the Filipino” print ads of the country’s flag carrier. She is also the first one to speak in the in-flight safety video (watch below) that can be watched by passengers aboard the aircraft before takeoff.
In real life, Muriel has a very warm and caring nature, and this must be one of the reasons why she thrives in her work as Flight Attendant. It is so easy to approach her and start a conversation. Her PR skills are commendable, tempered most of the time to make sure that she projects just the right kind of persona at work and in public.
How is #Binibini3 doing in your respective scoresheets, dear readers?
“It is important for me to be a Binibini because this is one of the goals in my pageant involvement so I could promote my advocacy to raise awareness and gain support for the welfare of the orphaned children. I don’t want to be just an Official Candidate but I’m there to win it. I want to represent the Philippines in an international pageant and get the bigger crown out there.”
And yes, she is part of the Presidential Cabin Crew aside from being a Flight Attendant with Philippine Airlines:
“Meeting the President and knowing him personally is overwhelming. Serving him is an honor and privilege so I do the best that I can for the entire contingent to be satisfied with my in-flight attention and service.”

Today is the 25th birthday of Trixia Marie Maraña, one of the Aces & Queens 2018 bets for Bb. Pilipinas 2018 who is hoping to receive a nice gift tonight in the form of an official Binibini spot in this year’s roster.
Just so you know, Trixia Marie is from Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental and a Business Management graduate of Asian College. Shei is currently working as a flight attendant (left photo) of PAL Express. Pageant-wise, she reigned as Miss Dumaguete 2009 and Miss Negros Oriental 2015. Her last title brought honor to the country when she was crowned Miss Asia 2016 in Kerala, India.
Below is a short clip of her crowning as Miss Asia 2016.

What do you think of this lovely lass, dear readers? She really possesses an elegant charm about her and could easily get a nod from the screening panel tonight.
Best of luck, Birthday Girl!
One of the flag-bearers of Kagandahang Flores for Bb. Pilipinas 2018 is a beautiful Cebuana named Murielle Adrienne Isidore Orais. Just call her Murielle. She’s no longer new in the pageant world after being crowned as Miss Philippines Water 2011. She kept a low profile after serving her reign, worked as FA for Philippine Airlines, and is also part of the Presidential Cabin Crew. It is only now that she has resurfaced. And how.
She is one of the #KF2018 applicants who made it to the BPCI office yesterday afternoon. Read the bio of this 5’7” charmer below.

During yesterday afternoon’s Presentation Show of Aces & Queens for its Class of 2018, one of the ladies who stood out was Edjelyn Joy Gamboa of Oriental Mindoro – your Binibini 12 during Bb. Pilipinas 2016. She is definitely more stunning now compared to the first time that she joined. The almost two year-rest has given her a more solid foundation for this return, aside from earning the life experience of being a Flight Attendant with Philippine Airlines.
For 2018, Edjelyn is hoping that she will be able to fulfill the long-time dream of being a national beauty queen. The will and determination are in place. All she needs right now is a healthy dose of good luck that will prompt her lucky stars to align.
But first, she needs to qualify as one of this year’s Binibini first. And that is what she is focusing on more than anything else between now and January 15.
Best of luck, Edj!
Time to turn the tables around on Tito Rodgil Flores! He has gotten so used to seeing off his beauty queens at the airport to bid them good luck. Now, it’s his send-off moment at the NAIA International Terminal 2 for his Philippine Airlines flight to Los Angeles from where he will be driven straight to Las Vegas.
Here are his Final thoughts on Rachel before boarding time:
“I can’t help but get quite emotional thinking how Rachel’s pageant journey has turned out to be…I can vividly remember when I first saw her 3 years ago. I knew right then and there that she was destined for greater things.
After our initial meeting (thanks to Bb. Pilipinas Universe 2004 Maricar Balagtas Arciaga), I did not waste time convincing her relentlessly to try pageantry here in the country and the rest is history.
I feel so excited for Rachel. Seeing her on the Miss Universe stage gives me this feeling of being more than just a mentor but also a father brimming with pride.
I love Rachel dearly! Whatever the outcome will be, she has given us so much pride! Rachel will always be my Miss Universe!”
Have a good flight, Tito Rodgil! And may you have a very fruitful first trip to the US! Give Rachel hugs and kisses for me!!! 🙂
