Australian DJ and Model Callum David (click on the image above to check out his website)
Callum David, aka 'DJ Vinimal'
I know. I know. Bb. Pilipinas 2012 was all about the ladies. But I can’t help it that the DJ who spinned music tracks during the swimsuit competition is so darn good-looking that he took my attention away from the candidates every split second that a stop-and-pose was made in front of his side of the stage. In fact, he trended on Twitter during pageant night.
Aussie Callum David has been doing several DJ-ing gigs in the country (right now, he does it at Tim Yap’s Prive’) for close to a year now. He is also a print model, and the more popular one locally is for Penshoppe.

If you have been living under the rock for the past week, you wouldn’t know that Thai superstar Mario Maurer is in the country right now for his formal launch as Brand Ambassador of Penshoppe during the Philippine Fashion Week. His turn on the ramp will happen tonight at 7:30PM (Hall 2, SMX Convention Center). Unfortunately, the show is strictly by invitation. And no more invites are available. 😦
There is also confirmed news that Mario signed a one-picture contract with ABS Star Cinema where he will be paired with ‘Maria La Del Barrio’ Erich Gonzales for a romantic-comedy movie that will be shot mostly in Thailand. With the working title of “Suddenly It’s Magic”, the project should be very, very interesting. I was hoping that Kim Chiu would be his partner (a friend in Bangkok told me that chinitas are his weakness), but it turns out that Erich landed the enviable spot!
In the meantime, let’s enjoy his presence! If you’re crazy head-over-heels over him and would like to take a chance at seeing him tonight at SMX, give it a try. Who knows, he may openly mingle with all the guests after the show, lose the security cordon surrounding him and you just might end up getting a photo op with him.
Below, watch one of Mario’s TVCs released earlier this year.

Mario Maurer is adorably gorgeous!
If and when cute Mario – who is of Thai/German lineage – decides to carry some semblance of a showbiz career here in the Philippines, I’m certain that he will become more popular. He doesn’t need to reside in Manila for long periods, but just shuttle back and forth from Bangkok where he is permanently based. 😉
Local clothing brand Penshoppe has really stepped up to the plate with their recent signing up of Hollywood hunk celeb Ed Westwick (of TV’s ‘Gossip Girl’ series) as their newest endorser. I now have a totally different impression of the brand, just like the time Kamiseta did the same thing.
Hi! Norman here. When I'm not working, I spend most of my free time planning on daily blogs. If you will notice, I always make sure that a fresh topic comes out everyday - not an easy thing to do but it's all good. Thanks for dropping by and enjoy the visit!
