Today, March 10, the Annual Grand Parade of Beauties of Bb. Pilipinas 2018 will take place around The Araneta Center starting at 4:00pm. Pageant fans and supporters will definitely come in full force. And the forty (40) Binibinis are all excited to shine in public.
Below is the route of the parade itself.
Here are photos from last year’s parade:
Meanwhile outside the hotel lobby upstairs, members of the media were pleasantly surprised to see Madame Stella Marquez de Araneta – with husband Jorge – arrived unannounced.
So you can see the delight in the faces of the Binibinis upon seeing SMA waving at them and individually checking their positions in the car. It was a welcome sight because the candidates have been missing the presence of the BPCI Head for a long time now. And early reports stated that she will only arrive from abroad a couple of days before the April 17 finals.
All in a day’s worth of parade. The individual photos are already placed in grids below. Also, be informed that there will be two “surprises” next week as intimated to us by BPCI’s Gines Enriquez himself. Of course, you already know the first which is the return of Miss Universe Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach. The second one is still under wraps and will just catch us off-guard several days from now.
Watch out for it! 😉

A TRIBUTE TO ALL LGBT HANDLERS OF OUR QUEENS
I have seen the two-piece creation myself and it looks sexy and eye-catching.
Well if you’re curious, make sure that you go to Araneta Center starting at 4pm. This will be worth the late afternoon exposure to the sun. That much I can say. 🙂
We will be approaching the homestretch of this year’s edition in the coming week. Aside from non-stop rehearsals, the Binibinis will be busy psyching themselves up for the March 15 judgment night.
Who’s really in? Who’s really not-so-in? And who among them are just there to enjoy the whole experience?
We’ll find out soon enough. 😉
P.S. Do not forget to watch the Bb. Pilipinas 2015 Primer “The Road to the Crown” tonight on ABS-CBN’s Sunday’s Best around 9:45pm.

Beauty may be relative. But when it comes to Bb. Pilipinas, the parameters become very clear, especially during public appearances as bright and sunshiny like the Parade of Beauties yesterday afternoon.
The loud cheers may have been reserved for those with the biggest number of supporters who showed up. But in the final analysis, the ones who effortlessly stood out are the Binibinis who took everything in stride and loved the whole activity. Combined with how they were actually beautified by the make-up artists, here are ten (10) of those who registered very well among them. I say ‘very well’ because all of them actually looked mighty fine. 😉
It’s Thursday once more, time for another pageant rewind.
And our subject – parades. More specifically, the one where our ladies in the nationals are driven around in floats (they used to be sports cars) for everyone to see and appreciate.

Are you happy that the last one no longer had the Miata topdowns? I know I am.
Let us segue now to 2015 because this year’s version of the same event will take place this coming Saturday, March 7 at 4:00PM.All roads will lead to Cubao three days from now as the annual Bb. Pilipinas Parade of Beauties will be held around the Araneta Center area for the public to get a refreshing encounter with the thirty-four (34) Binibinis in their showgirl-styled get-ups.
While I may have always been the least excited about this activity every year (mainly because I am not in total agreement with dressing up the ladies in feathery headdresses or those made with indigenous materials while wearing their two-piece swimsuits paired with a sheer wrap-around cloth for the bottom), it still is one of the more awaited appearances of the beauties.
Make sure you have your cameras and video recorders ready to capture the parade in full HD quality. 😉
Who has the best-looking headdress of all?
I choose the one on Binibini 39 Ladylyn Riva’s head (top, left above). Maybe it’s just me, but I like my headdress a bit more elegant-looking and top-complimenting. Which reminds me, she wore one that is largely different from the rest, no?
And while we’re at it, what can you say about the float where the ladies stayed during the parade? Does it float your boat?
It was the Parade of the Year so far. The Bb. Pilipinas 2014 Official Candidates being toured around the Araneta Center, that is.
Instead of sports cars, floats were used thank heavens. At least, it did not compromise the safety of the ladies while wearing identical two-piece swimwears with only a piece of sheer cloth wrapped around their waists.
And the simpler headdresses for some, which reminded me of the walis tambo (a native floor sweeper), allowed them to move more freely. The feathery ones are acceptable as well. All images courtesy of OPMB Worldwide, Jory Rivera, Noli Berioso and Norman Gonzales.
