Being the youngest #Binibini in Bb. Pilipinas 2019 has its upswings for your #Binibini31 Danielle Isabelle Dolk.
First of all, she is everyone’s baby sister so the other aspirants would naturally fill in that Big Sister mode over her.
Second, she has that sweet and engagingly age-appropriate aura that makes people gravitate towards her effervescent presence.
And third, she is proof that – at 18 years of age – being young can easily qualify someone for the big league in pageant nationals for as long as one has the looks and potentials to win the game.

Justine Mae “Jaya” San Jose, Mutya ng Pilipinas by Onecho Gabinete
is “Good luck” in Bahasa Malaysia. And that is what we are wishing Mutya ng Pilipinas Tourism International 2016 Justine Mae “Jaya” San Jose as she competes in the finals of the last beauty pageant for this year – Miss Tourism International 2016/17 – which will wrap up with the crowning of a new winner on New Year’s Eve (or just shortly before the clock strikes 2017 tonight
) inside Marriott Putrajaya in Malaysia.
Jaya is in high spirits, especially after being informed by the organizers that she is always being noticed – along with the delegates of Indonesia, Vietnam and Thailand – as the most active in social media. And this helps a lot not only in determining the Most Popular Special Award recipient, but also in measuring the power of reach that a potential winner can use if and when she becomes crowned as the next.

Jaya is especially motivated at the moment because her loved ones are already in Kuala Lumpur to support her bid. Add to that the fact Miss Tourism Queen of the Year International 2015 Leren Mae Bautista is also a special guest during the coronation. She will give it her all, trust me.
Once more, semoga berjaya, Jaya! 😀
Joshua Reginald Banatin is Mister Philippines Calabarzon 2016
Winners all and they will compete in Mister Philippines 2017
Last night, I had the privilege of sitting in the panel of judges which selected the winners of Mister Philippines Calabarzon 2016 at the Lipa City Youth & Cultural Center in Lipa City, Batangas. And among the fifteen (15) candidates who stepped forward to present the best of the region, Joshua Reginald Banatin from Los Baños, Laguna proved to be the best as he defeated all comers in claiming the title and being proclaimed as “The Most Handsome Man in the Calabarzon Region”. He is now automatically seeded into Mister Philippines 2017 which will have its finals come April, 2017.
Coming close is Mister Tourism Calabarzon winner Zyrus Mores of San Pablo City, Laguna who snatched the 2nd title of the night. Their court is made up of 1st Runner-Up AJ Cabrera (also of Los Baños), 2nd Runner-Up Ryan Perez of Candelaria, Quezon, 3rd Runner-Up Ian Cruz of San Juan, Batangas and 4th Runner-Up Richard Flores, also from Candelaria.

The good news here is that, due to the success of the finals, all Top 6 placers will now compete in the nationals for Mister Philippines 2017. Let us all wish them the best of luck!

Thank you to the Mister Philippines Calabarzon organizers who invited me to be part of the big regional event, and to the Officers of the bigger Mister Philippines who encouraged me to further my coverage of the national selection. 🙂
The last International beauty pageant for 2016
Jaya will spend New Year’s Eve in KL, Malaysia (Photo by Onecho Gabinete)
Miss Tourism International has already established itself as the last international beauty pageant to be held every year, with the annual finals always happening during New Year’s Eve. And for 2016, Mutya ng Pilipinas Tourism International Justine Mae “Jaya” San Jose is the Filipina who will travel to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia to represent the Philippines in the 2016/17 edition.
This beautiful lady from Pila, Laguna – whom we recently saw as one of the PBA Muses for Rain-or-Shine Elasto-Painters – is more than ready to give her best for the country. She wants nothing more than to add another crowning achievement to the long list of Filipinas who have helped make the country a true pageant powerhouse around the world.
And Jaya will get all the support that she needs – from the Mutya ng Pilipinas organizers to her family to the big group of fans and supporters who have pledged to back her up all the way.

Watch out for more Miss Tourism International 2016/17 updates soon!
Finally, the Philippine slate for 2016 is complete. And the crowning of Catriona Elisa Gray as Miss World Philippines 2016 fills in the last missing spot in the Filipinas who will represent the country in all the worth-citing international female beauty competitions abroad.
Maxine Medina for the 65th Miss Universe. Kylie Verzosa for Miss International 2016. Joanna Eden for Miss Supranational 2016. Jennifer Hammond for Miss Intercontinental 2016. Nicole Cordoves for Miss Grand International 2016. Nichole Manalo for The Miss Globe 2016. Imelda Schweighart for Miss Earth 2016. Ganiel Krishnan for Miss Asia-Pacific International 2016. Jaya San Jose for Miss Tourism International 2016. Eva Psychee Patalinjug for Miss Tourism Queen of the Year International 2016. Janela Joy Cuaton for Miss Tourism Metropolitan 2016. Nancy Leonard for (the already completed) Miss Tourism Queen International 2016. Jeslyn Santos for Miss United Continents 2016 which she just won in Guayaquil, Ecuador. And now, Catriona Elisa Gray for Miss World 2016 in Washington, DC this coming December 20.
Who among the more eagerly-followed contests will shine and bring the crown back to the Philippines? Methinks that we have a very good chance in getting Miss World 2016, or our second victory in Julia Morley’s brand. That is what I can safely state for now.
What are your thoughts, dear readers? 🙂
