Jason Dewey was one of the guest DJs last Friday night
I must confess. I am no party animal. I go to loud social gatherings either as a pageant blogger or to fulfill a commitment to a friend’s invitation. So when I found myself going to One Esplanade last Friday night to check out Spectra Electric Dance Carnival upon the personal invite of the organizers, I initially had reservations about letting myself loose into the crazy and fun atmosphere inside. But the doubts soon disappeared after seeing how much wicked the music was. And to actually enjoy the whole thing in the company of people I love being with the most, there was literally no turning back.
I arrived at the venue with two of the Misters 2015 winners – Mister Model International Philippines 2015 Arcel Yambing and Mister Tourism International Philippines 2015 Willan Pagayon. It was just the three of us after seeing off Judah Cohen at the airport for his flight to Panama City to compete in Mister Tourism International 2015. And then my photographer-friend Joy Arguil joined us. Soon enough, Mister International Philippines 2015 Reniel Villareal, Mister International 2014 Neil Perez, Misters 2015 1st Runner-Up Don Mcgyver Cochico, Misters 2015 Official Candidate Jazzie Vasquez, the brother-sister team of PEPPs – Carlo Morris and Marianne Galang, and the ladies from Teceruma Spa made us one big happy group.
And with the out-of-this-world dance mixes from the guest DJs (like Dante Domingo, DJ Ronan, Jason Dewey and Tom Taus) in the background, it was a night well spent. It will be a long waiting time till I attend a similar big event as I am not that attached to the dance scene and the like. But given the right ingredients for the same, who knows where I will find myself next?
Thank you, One Esplanade, for inviting us to Spectra Electric Dance Carnival! 😀

A fashion show and auction night rolled into one
Groupie with the Misters with your blogger and media colleague Dennis Natividad
During the Gala Night of Misters 2015 The Pageant together with Miss Esplanade Philippines, a grand fashion show was held followed by an auction that allowed the candidates to offer various items from their respective cities and provinces up for bidding.
For the Misters, the latest designs of Shanon Pamaong, Charles Anito, Norman San Diego, Dauson Bermtay and Chris Jasler were worn as they strutted the runway like true models. The ladies, on the other hand, took on the creations of Ryan Sarangay. Il
Afterwards, each one of them took centerstage for the auction. Two Misters in particular, Jake Camarines from Quezon City and Kevin Fichera from FilComm Italy, fetched the highest winning bids. A self-made artwork made in Gold and a luminous rosary from Rome were sold at P8,000 and P7,500 respectively. And collectively, they all accounted for close to a P100,000 that will be given to the charity foundation of Ryan Sarangay.

It was a fun night for everyone as the guests mingled with the Misters and the Miss Esplanade Philippines candidates. Afterwards, it was party time where dancing capped the whole affair.
Good job for a successful event! 😀
