Louise Theunis, a Magna cum Laude Pharmacy graduate representing Carrascal, Surigao del Sur, was crowned Miss Bikini Philippines 2019 which comes with a cash prize of P300,000.00. You will remember her as a semi-finalist during Miss World Philippines 2019. The finals was held at the AFP Theater in QC.
Her court is made up of 1st Runner-Up Roberta Angela ‘Roan’ Tamondong of Quezon City and 2nd Runner-Up Kim Velasco of Quezon Province.
Kudos to ProMedia, Paul Izon Reyes and Lahaina Mondoñedo for the successful comeback of the pageant that used to be associated with one of the country’s top fitness centers.

Are you ready for this?
Miss Earth 2019 will start rolling in soon with the arrival of this year’s delegates who will vie for the crown of reigning titleholder Nguyễn Phương Khánh.
Below are photo grids of 70 of the almost 90 candidates who will compete this year, including our very own Miss Philippines Earth 2019 Janelle Lazo Tee. The foreign visitors will land in our shores this week or by the end of the month.
The four winning pillars of pageantry in 2018:
Catriona Gray – Miss Universe
Vanessa Ponce de León – Miss World
Mariem Claret Velazco – Miss International
Nguyễn Phương Khánh – Miss Earth
Indeed, this is the year split between Asians and Latinas in international beauty competitions. If you consider the rest of the other pageants like Miss Supranational (Puerto Rico), Miss Grand International(Paraguay), Miss Tourism International (Indonesia), Miss Asia Pacific International (Philippines), Miss Eco International (Philippines), The Miss Globe (China), Reina Hispanoamericana (Venezuela), Miss United Continents (México) and more, you’ll see what I mean.
As 2018 comes to a close, let us look forward to an even more exciting 2019 with the opening salvo being the 47th Miss Intercontinental next month.
Happy New Year to all of you, my dear readers!
We have a new Miss Earth and she is Nguyen Phuong Khanh of Vietnam. She outperformed everyone else in the Final 4 (even the Top 8) to become the first Vietnamese winner of the title and the first-ever victory of the country in a Grand Slam pageant among the Big 4 in the pageant world.
Her elemental court is composed of Miss Air Melanie Mader of Austria, Miss Water Valeria Ayos of Colombia and Miss Fire Melissa Flores of Mexico.
Miss Philippines Celeste Cortesi made it up to the Top 8, along with Telma Madeira of Portugal, Diana Silva of Venezuela and Sofia Favan of Italy.
This was such a tightly-paced finals that the event was concluded at just 10pm, way earlier than previous editions.
