Only normannorman.com and Rappler (c/o Voltaire Tayag) were allowed access to the MWP2017 Final Screening
During today’s full day of Miss World Philippines 2017 Final Screening, your blogger was given access – alongside Voltaire Tayag of Rappler – to the entire proceedings at the Ballroom 3 and Balcony 1 of New World Hotel Makati City. I was able to meet the fifty-five (55) short-listed aspirants from where the thirty-four (34) Official Candidates were selected by a panel made up of National Director Arnold Vegafria, former titleholders Gwen Ruais and Queenie Rehman plus General Manager Bessie Besana and a number of the organization’s officers. It was not an easy task trimming down the ladies after they went through casual interviews, swimsuit round and long gown presentation.
All throughout, the ladies were identified by numbers which made it difficult for myself to gather all their names in one go. So without further ado, here are the Official Candidates of Miss World Philippines 2017 with their names included in progress:

Any reactions so far, dear readers?
The twin set of activities for Mister United Continents Philippines 2015 was held yesterday inside Fisher Mall in Quezon City.
The Press Presentation of the Official Candidates was conducted first, followed by the Regional/Festival Costume Competition which had all the contenders garbed in their home provinces’ most creative traditional wear. The Top 5 Finalists for this part were announced, and they are the entries of Laguna (Victorio Bote), Midsayap (Kevin Dale Jovellano), Tacloban (Edviro Fuentes Jr.), Sultan Kudarat (Nikko Abdul) and Marinduque (Arcel Pacaigue).
The Darling of the Press was the first award to be handed out. Mr. Navotas City Mark Andrew Baron was named for this recognition.
