Soon, World Top Model Philippines 2019 April May Short will be flying to Monaco where she will vie for the very competitive World Top Model title. The prize for the winner is a modeling contract worth a whopping €200,000.

In the meantime, here are shots of our beautiful Zamboangueña wearing one of the creations of my dear Michael StaMaria. This piece is part of the “existi” Collection.

And just when everyone thought that the first half of December, 2019 will be extremely busy with the overlapping events and activities of Miss Universe, Miss World, Miss Supranational and even Mister Supranational drawing our attention left and right, let me remind pageant fans and followers of another competition in the mix where April May Short will be taking part in. Our Mutya Pilipinas World Top Model is set to fly to the Principality of Monaco for World Top Model 2019 where the international finals will be held on December 14.

Miss Tourism International 2019/2020 Cyrille Payumo

If the crown is really meant for you, then it will land on your head no matter what the circumstances are.

As 1st Runner-Up of Mutya Pilipinas 2019, Cyrille Payumo was perfectly happy with the placement. It was her first national beauty pageant, after all. But it didn’t take long for her to ascend to one of the major titles when the original winner for Mutya Tourism International – Tyra Goldman – had to be replaced as per the strict rules of the Malaysia-based organization.

So off to Malaysia this beautiful and statuesque Kapampangan went. She did everything possible to represent the country well. No stones were left unturned, including the online voting where she placed a strong 2nd in the final tally.

Cyrille also won Best in National Costume

During the finals, Cyrille grabbed just one special award – Best in National Costume – while the representatives of other ASEAN, Asian and European nations kept on receiving one subsidiary title after the next.

It cannot be denied, though, that our bet was a stand-out in more ways than one. And when the winners in the magic circle were being announced, her country name was not being called. That is, up until the biggest one when Tan Sri Datuk Danny Ooi finally revealed that “Miss Tourism Philippines” is the winner of Miss Tourism International 2019/2020.

Congratulations, Cyrille! Savor the victory and be gloriously happy that you will return to the country with a 5th BIG win in this competition.

Mutya Pilipinas recently announced that – due to the new policy of the Miss Tourism International Pageant in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia – and in compliance with their latest rule, being “naturally-born in the country the candidate represents and no-dual citizenship”, Miss Cyrille Payumo, First Runner Up will replace Miss Tyra Goldman in the November 2019 Competition.

“We respect the rules of the Organization and assure them of our 100% compliance“ said Cory Quirino, President of Mutya Pilipinas after her telephone conversation with Tan Sri Datuk Danny Ooi, President of the Miss Tourism International Pageant.

“However, so as not to deprive Ms. Goldman of her opportunity to compete, we are presently studying possible options for her in other respectable international competitions. She is a gem of a beauty queen who can proudly and ably represent the Philippines”, stressed Quirino.

Just to update you all, Mutya Pilipinas Asia-Pacific International 2019 Klyza Castro will begin her quest for a back-to-back win in Miss Asia-Pacific International 2019 here in Manila beginning September 26 all the way to the finals come October 9.

On the other hand, Mutya Pilipinas World Top Model 2019 April May Short will start her training with PMAP (Professional Models Association of the Philippines) next week before flying to France en route to Monte Carlo in the Principality of Monaco for the World top Model competition that will run from December 11-14.

Tyra Rae Goldman, Mutya Pilipinas Tourism International 2019, is gearing up for the Miss Tourism International 2019/2020 Pageant that will happen in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from October 22 till the second week of November.

Tall Dabawenya and Zamboangueña beauties top Mutya Pilipinas 2019

5’9″ Klyza Castro of Davao City and 5’11” April May Short of Zamboanga City made it a 1-2 punch of victory for Mindanao in Mutya Pilipinas 2019 after they were crowned as the country’s representatives this year for Miss Asia Pacific International here in Manila and World Top Model in Monaco.

Both ladies will have their hands full the coming months as they prepare for their respective pageant missions.

Tyra Goldman of Nevada is now the first overseas community representative to win the right to represent us in Malaysia’s Miss Tourism International.

Early strong contender – the statuesque Cyrille Payumo of Pampanga – faltered in her Top 6 Q&A and settled for 1st Runner-Up honors.
