Happy Birthday to Miss Tourism International 2017/2018 Jannie Loudette Alipo-on who celebrated the day doing charity work at the House of Refuge Foundation.
You are truly a Mutya Ng Pilipinas!
A crown for Jannie. Finally!
During last night’s finals of Mutya ng Pilipinas 2017, Jannie Loudette Alipo-on of Navotas City was almost guaranteed of a victory. She was in her best elements. Well, almost. A slight hiccup during the Top 12 Q&A threatened to spoil the results, but the judges may have already made up their minds at that point. It also helped a lot that the owner of Miss Tourism International – Tan Sri Danny Ooi – was a member of the Board of Judges and had a final say on who will get the crown dedicated to his Kuala Lumpur-based pageant.
I was sounded off that the Malaysian pageant mogul gave his thumbs-up to the 25 year-old. And I couldn’t agree more. She had the peg of MTI down pat.
I asked Jannie to share her thoughts about the victory.
Mutya ng Pilipinas Tourism International 2017 Jannie Alipo-on
“When I heard my name I was totally shocked and my first words as miss tourism international was “oh my gosh, really?” Then in my mind, I kept thanking god for granting my dreams and wishes of my mentors and family. Then I looked at them screaming their lungs out. All the hard word was all worth it.
I am planning to see more of the Philippines and document it. I will go to places that are haven’t been discovered yet and share it with my social media to make it known. And of course I need to educate everyone on how to take care of our environment so that we can sustain the beauty of it.”
