#BinibiniWishList2019: Leren Mae M. Bautista
She temporized for years, hoping perhaps that the perfect year to join gives her a clear sign before taking the risk of getting back into the nationals with an international beauty title already secured with her name on it. Beyond everything, your Mutya Ng Pilipinas 2015 won MISS TOURISM QUEEN OF THE YEAR INTERNATIONAL 2015/2016 – maybe not big enough as an achievement for some, but still an honor for the country that she bagged on her own merits.
Fast forward to January, 2019.
The best time could be now. The waiting is over. And short of pressuring Leren to finally say “yes” to becoming a Binibini, let’s help her decide by a show of hands (or likes and loves if you will).
Who wants this gorgeous Lagunense to join Bb. Pilipinas 2019?

2017 has been an all-out year of travels for Leren Mae Bautista. Having been a regular part of the Philippine Tapestry Fashion Show of Designer Renee Salud, she has been to Germany, all over Canada and the US East Coast where she walked the runway along with other choice models.
Leren is now taking it easy with the overseas engagements (she just got back from New York recently) and could be in that phase of her life where the next chapter could be a crossover to Bb. Pilipinas. There are definite risks involved – having been a Mutya ng Pilipinas 2015 and Miss Tourism Queen of the Year International 2015/16. But for this beauty from Laguna, she would rather take the challenge than regret not having done so once she gets past the age qualifications.
I know she is ready. And the past two years have polished her presentation and communication skills. Let us look back to the time when she won in Malaysia and her first TV interview with the ANC Channel.
Please share your comments afterwards, dear readers.

Rossette Joyce Tayam from Olongapo
Rossette Joyce Tayam is a relatively familiar face in national beauty competitions. She was part of two separate pageants – one during Mutya ng Pilipinas 2015 where she represented Olongapo and the second one last year when she joined Miss World Philippines.
This year, Rossette Joyce will be doing the biggest cross-over when she screens for Bb. Pilipinas 2017 by the last week of February. It took her quite some time to reach the decision of doing the move to file her application at the BPCI office, and is hopeful that she will make the cut to become an official Binibini soon.
Will she be one of the chosen ones? Let’s find out once the names are called out on the 27th. 🙂
Kiara Giel Gregorio for the Fil-Community of London in MPE2016 (Two side photos taken by Joy Arguil)
Kiara Giel Hamlig Gregorio may be wearing the sash of the Filipino Community in London, UK for Miss Philippines Earth 2016, but don’t doubt for one second her sincere love for all things Filipino. You may remember her representing the same (or UK for that matter
) during Mutya ng Pilipinas 2015. This time, she is back with full force as an environmental advocate for Mother Earth. And she is giving this fight every minute of her undivided attention.
I see this journey not as a destination but a mission in creating a culture of change and transformation in the lives of many. I see many faces of struggles and suffering in the natural world we live in. My role as part of Miss Philippines Earth is to let people see with their own eyes just how much they could do to save Mother Earth and I will do this through my campaign, “One With The Earth”.

What can you say about 19 year-old Kiara Giel, dear readers? Does she meet your idea of a potential successor for Angelia Ong? 🙂
From Mutya to Earth Warrior, Shannon Bridgman has transformed herself
Shannon Rebecca Bridgman is one Fil-Aussie who takes a lot of pride in her Pinoy
roots. Last year, she had her first taste of pageantry in our shores as the representative of Melbourne, Australia in Mutya ng Pilipinas 2015 where she managed a Top 10 finish. Not bad for starters in a country where beauty contests are the toughest nuts to crack, especially if one is being transported from another country where she grew up in.
The pageant bug must have really hit hard. And instead of cutting her dreams short in late 2015, she vowed to return. And now she is an Official Candidate of Miss Philippines Earth 2016 as the representative of Rosales, Pangasinan.
Watch her video now.

Sweet Shannon does not give earth-shaking reasons for wanting to become the next Earth Ambassadress of the Philippines. She digs deep into her heart to become an environmental advocate with a lot of warmth and sincerity.

“I want to become Miss Philippines Earth because I want to increase awareness in proper trash management and environment conservation in our youth. We have to teach our children how to dispose of our waste before our country becomes one huge garbage can. I believe that winning the title will give me the voice to push this forward.”
Best of luck in the competition, Shannon! 🙂
Can Angelynne Huxley Cabrera successfully cross over from Mutya to Binibini?
Angelynne Huxley Cabrera was Candidate #1 during Mutya ng Pilipinas 2015 where she represented La Paz, Tarlac. And this pretty lass must have really enjoyed (and learned a lot from
) her stint in the competition that she could be setting her sights at something bigger and more challenging – Bb. Pilipinas 2016.
Only in her very late teens, this perky Tarlaqueña is a student of STI College in her province taking up Tourism Management. With such youth and promise on her side, she could have easily gone for a Miss Young Pilipinas title if only the corresponding Miss Young International competition was still around. But if she is indeed psyched up to face the thoroughbreds in the nationals, then she will need to give it more than 100%. It’s obvious that she has the face and the body to make the screening panel sit up and take notice. From there, she only needs to sustain a consistent charm and grace to win them over in all stages of elimination en route to claiming a spot in this year’s roster.
Good luck, Angelynne! 😉
Angelynne would have been a perfect fit for Miss Young Pilipinas if only the title was still around
Yesterday lunchtime at the Midas Hotel and Casino, Mutya ng Pilipinas Asia-Pacific International 2015 Leren Mae Bautista was given her official send-off to Miss Tourism Queen of the Year International 2015 which will be hosted in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The finals will be concluded on New Year’s Eve, December 31.
Laguna native Leren is confident that she will do well in the said beauty competition. She hopes to bring more honor to the Philippines by way of a crown. And I can personally sense a positive vibe in her overall aura. In a way, she reminds me of Lorna Legaspi who went to Hong Kong for Miss Asia-Pacific 1989 and came back a winner.
Good luck, Leren! 🙂
