Unless last-minute changes in the format will take effect between now and Friday evening, the Mr World 2019 Finals at the Smart Araneta Coliseum will have the first cut set at Top 24, followed by the second cut to the semifinals at Top 12 and eventually a Top 5 before the announcement of the big winner and his two runners-up.
Here now are normannorman.com’s final picks for the Top 24 in alphabetical order:
Leonardo Díaz Alincastro of Argentina 🇦🇷
Alberto Nodale of Austria 🇦🇹
Darko Milović of Bosnia & Herzegovina 🇧🇦
Carlos Franco of Brazil 🇧🇷
Makala N Nganda Courtez of Cameroon 🇨🇲
Alessandro Coward of Canada 🇨🇦
Daniel castrillon. of Colombia 🇨🇴
Jakub Kraus of the Czech Republic 🇨🇿
Alejandro Martinez of the Dominican Republic 🇩🇴
Daniel Vallejo of Ecuador 🇪🇨
David Pivaral of El Salvador 🇸🇻
Jack Heslewood of England 🏴
Tino Kantonen of Finland 🇫🇮
Wayne Walsh of Ireland 🇮🇪
Marco D’Elia of Italy 🇮🇹
Jean-Paul Bitar of Lebanon 🇱🇧
Brian Faugier of Mexico 🇲🇽
Adam Steenson of Northern Ireland 🇬🇧
JB Saliba of the Philippines 🇵🇭
Fezile Mkhize of South Africa 🇿🇦
Daniel Torres Moreno of Spain 🇪🇸
Anakin Nontiprasit of Thailand 🇹🇭
Mikaele ‘Henry’ Ahomana of Tonga 🇹🇴
Jorge Eduardo Nunez Martinez of Venezuela 🇻🇪
Next in line: My Top 12 as I cut the list in half.

Having spent enough time with the 72 candidates the past weeks, I have extra confidence in coming up with this list of Top 12. With three (3) spots already earmarked for Fezile Mkhize of South Africa who won the Sports Challenge, Wayne Walsh of Ireland who topped the Extreme Challenge and Mikaele ‘Henry’ Ahomana of Tonga who was named Mr World Top Talent last night, the nine other guys who deserve to join them are:
Leonardo Díaz Alincastro of Argentina 🇦🇷
Carlos Franco of Brazil 🇧🇷
Alejandro Martinez of the Dominican Republic 🇩🇴
Jack Heslewood of England 🏴
Jean-Paul Bitar of Lebanon 🇱🇧
Brian Faugier of Mexico 🇲🇽
JB Saliba of the Philippines 🇵🇭
Anakin Nontiprasit of Thailand 🇹🇭
Jorge Eduardo Nunez Martinez of Venezuela 🇻🇪
It would also be a breeze for the winner of the Top Model Challenge (who will be announced tomorrow night) because all of the Top 5 finalists in this fast-track segment (Dominican Republic, England, Venezuela, Philippines and Mexico) are already included above in my list.

At this point, the likely winner of Mr World 2019 is already shaping up to be a three-way battle among Brian Faugier of Mexico 🇲🇽, Jack Heslewood of England 🏴 and Fezile Mkhize of South Africa 🇿🇦. From where I stand, one of these three guys have the serious upper hand, and it would take an unforgivable blunder in the Q&A/Interview to surrender their front-running positions.
Personally, I would love to see the Mexican Brian Faugier being the successor of Rohit Khandelwal. But there is an equally strong possibility that Jack Heslewood of England would take the title away from him. I would give the slight edge to the latter because he would make an excellent spokesperson for both the Mr and Miss World Organizations in doing all their charity projects and causes around the world. Fezile of South Africa is the biggest spoiler in my opinion if the breaks go his way, with Carlos Franco of Brazil right behind him.
But at this point, signs are showing me that – ultimately – the Mr World 2019 title is likely to be brought back to London just in time for Miss World 2019 this coming December.
Thus, I end this by stating that normannorman.com’s predicted winner is Jack Heslewood of England 🏴.
