Lew Voon Khong of Malaysia and Anjelica Whitelaw of Australia were named Mr. & Miss Diversity Culture International 2014 respectively during the finals conducted at Privato Hotel in Mandaluyong City last night. The Philippine bets gave it a good fight, and in the end, Miss Philippines Renee Soraya Hassani clinched 1st Runner-Up and Mr. Philippines Alvin Arranguez placed 2nd Runner-Up. The entries from Borneo/Malaysia, Vietnam, Czech Republic and Samoa were the other members of both courts.
The competition serves as a “platform that celebrates diversity, culture through Beauty, fashion and Entertainment“, while creating “a space where people of all backgrounds are celebrated equally, where people from around the world can learn from one and another, creating new understanding, making new friendship, and forging stronger communities together.”
