I can’t remember the last time I encountered male pageant winners to be this rock solid in their brotherhood. Or maybe, I wasn’t just paying much attention to other batches or groups in recent or current years. Be that as it may, I am proud of how these four young men have evolved into. To say that they got each other’s back would be an understatement. Mister International Philippines 2015 Reniel Villareal, Mister Global Philippines 2015 Rick Kristoffer Palencia, Mister Model International Philippines 2015 Arcel Yambing and Mister Tourism International Philippines 2015 Willan Pagayon will do for each other what any biological male siblings would do as unconditional care and support.

So when Arcel left for Miami, Florida early this morning to represent the Philippines in Mister Model International 2015, the three others were present in spite of running on just two hours of sleep and helping their brother do the last-minute packing. It’s such a welcome sight to look at. And I am extremely happy to stand as one of their father figures (mother, if you will) ever since they won Misters2015.

Some of us may already be aware of the split in the middle due to the separation of the franchise holders in the organization – Rein and Rick on one end, Arcel and Willan on the other. But this did not divide them as individuals. It strengthened their bond even more. And regardless of what the upcoming months may bring, they will remain as such.
