In what is a collaborative event hosted by the Miss World Philippines Organization and GMA Artist Center, Miss World Philippines 2019 Michelle Marquez Dee was given her Official Sendoff/Presscon for Miss World 2019 at the Nanka Japanese Steakhouse in Mother Ignacia, QC.
Present to give messages of well-wishes and cheers are her National Director Arnold Vegafria, MWP General Manager Arnold Mercado, Simoun Ferrer of GMA Artist Center, fellow Queens Kelley Day/Glyssa Perez/Isabelle de Leon/Katrina Llegado/Mary Daena Resurreccion brother Abraham Lawyer and actress Max Collins. It would have been complete with the presence of her mother Melanie Marquez but the latter had to excuse herself due to a strict taping schedule of her ongoing teleserye on GMA7.
Michelle will depart for London this coming Tuesday, November 19. She will join more than a hundred delegates who will vie for the blue crown and will stay there till the finals on December 14.
Have a good flight, Michelle! And give it your best every single day of the competition in London.
Introducing the new Miss Eco Teen Philippines 2019 – Mary Daena Resurreccion!
This 18 year-old beauty will represent the Philippines in the inaugural edition of Miss Eco Teen International.

Below is the Official Statement of Arnold Vegafria of Miss World Philippines Organization on the dethronement of Vanessa Mae Walters as Miss Eco Teen Philippines 2019.
Please take time to read.
With Bb. Pilipinas 2019 over and dine with – albeit delayed for this year – could Miss World Philippines 2019 be closing in on its tails? I bet it will be. With Miss Philippines Earth 2019 going into full swing mode this month and finished by next, the search for the successors of Katarina Rodriguez, Maureen Montagne, Alyssa Muhlach Alvarez and Kimi Mugford will be starting soon. I’m interested to find out who among our 2019 Binibinis will cross-over (or plot a return) to the accepting arms of the Miss World Philippines Organization.
Who do you think will make the move? Nicole Guerrero? Julia Saubier? Ilene de Vera? or Jessica Marasigan?

At the Sapphire B Ballroom of Crowne Plaza Manila Galleria, a two-in-one Press Conference was hosted by the Miss World Philippines Organization. First was the homecoming for Miss Eco Philippines 2018 Maureen Montagne who successfully ended her mission in Cairo, Egypt when she placed 1st Runner-Up in a very close battle for Miss Eco International 2019. It was almost a back-to-back win for the country with Cynthia Thomalla being the outgoing international titleholder.
Maureen was pleased of her achievement abroad. For now, she plans to hang her pageant shoes in favor of a showbiz career. She will be shooting her first feature film soon, and is hoping that she will get a good hosting break on TV after.
The second focus of the Presscon was the formal introduction of Arnold Mercado as the new General Manager of the Miss World Philippines Organization. One of the former pillars of popular beauty camp “Aces & Queens”, he will now be in-charge of the annual Miss World Philippines competition as well as the upcoming Mr World 2019 to be hosted in the country starting late July with a finals date set for August 4. He will also take care of the promotion and appearances of the reigning Queens and Kings of the organization.
Best wishes to both Maureen and Arnold (now fondly called “Mama World” by everyone) in their future professional endeavors as part of the group headed by Arnold Vegafria.

Time for a quick break from the #Binibinis:
Now it can be told.
Two #Arnolds are now running Miss World Philippines Organization.
With Arnold Vegafria as the National Director, Arnold Mercado has taken the place of Bessie Besana – who posted his farewell message on social media last week – as General Manager.
I’m pretty sure that something big is in the works for the group this year!
Looking forward to the Presscon next week for the official announcement.

Photos from the Sendoff Press Conference held at Novotel Manila Araneta Center in honor of #MissEcoPhilippines Maureen Montagne who will represent the country in Miss Eco International to be held in Cairo, Egypt from March 12-29.
Her fellow Queens – Miss World Philippines Katarina Rodriguez, Reina Hispanoamericana Filipinas Alyssa Muhlach Alvarez and Miss Multinational Philippines Kimi Mugford- and National Director Arnold Vegafria were around to give their moral support and well-wishes to our competing rep.
Best of luck, Mo! And go for the back-to-back win!
Yesterday was her official sendoff presided by National Director Arnold Vegafria of the Miss World Philippines Organization.
And today, she is scheduled to depart for New Delhi, India to represent the country in Miss Multinational 2018/2019.
Miss Multinational Philippines 2018 Kimi Mugford is looking at scoring a back-to-back win in the competition with Sophia Senoron being the reigning titleholder.
Kimi will be wearing a Cary Santiago number for the finals plus a Patrick Starr creation for her National Costume (inspired by the Province of Benguet).
This articulate young lady of 18 admits that her training was tough, but committed her 100% to everything. Gone are her hockey-playing tomboyish ways back in Ontario. In place now is a transformed lady who has so much pride in wearing the Philippine sash abroad.
Best of luck in the journey and do us proud, Kimi!
The Miss World Philippines Organization will have three (3) of its titleholders scheduled to fulfill their respective pageant missions abroad in the First Quarter of 2020:
1) Katrina S. Llegado for Reina Hispanoamericana in Sta. Cruz, Bolivia from late January till the 8th of February;
2) Isabelle Daza De Leon for Miss Multinational in New Delhi, India from February 14-22;
3) Kelley Day for Miss Eco International which will be hosted in five different cities in Egypt from the 23rd of March – onwards.
May the start of 2020 be filled with good fortune for these beautiful Queens who are all wearing #Paulina by Mikee Andrei.
