Now there is another persistent talk that one or both two Princesses of Miss World Philippines 2017 are considering a significant crossover to Bb. Pilipinas. 1st Princess Glyssa Perez and 2nd Princess Zara Carbonell are said to be keen on giving the bigger nationals earnest attempts in hopes of scoring important wins that would better their achievements in the former.
I say, why not?
On second thought, they will need to give up their Princess placements if ever they continue with the pursuit for the crown(s).
What are your thoughts on this, dear readers?
Day 9: Touring more of the historic towns of China. 🇨🇳❤️ This one is 1000 years old 🙂 Love how Miss World is giving us chances to be travellers & students. Being a beauty Queen here is definitely not all about glitz & glamour 🙂 @missworldltd #MissWorld #MissWorld2017 #MW2017
Day 10: Feeling like an Olympian in the jackets they gave us 🙈😃 My flag is peeling off already but everyday I am so proud to wear it that I refuse to take it off! 🙂 ❤️ How does it look? 😛 @missworld @missworldltd #MissWorld2017 #MissWorld #MW2017
It definitely ain’t easy competing in Miss World given the large number of candidates to deal with and the demanding challenges – physically, emotionally and intellectually – that need to be met with utmost regularity. The Social Media component alone is something that one needs to be way into and any kind of forced effort to do so will show in the long run.
Miss Philippines Laura Lehmann is giving just the right amount of time and attention to chronicle the journey on her social media accounts even if some quarters feel that she needs to do more in order for her fans and followers to hype her activities even and not rely on the posts of other delegates which include her in the picture frame and the like.
What say you, dear readers? Are you following her day-to-day activities as dutifully as the rest or are you kept wanting for more?
Personally, I have so much in my hands right now that I am simply blogging about updates as they come, regardless of the competition where our representative is competing in.

The ladies are still in Shenzhen, but the activities of Miss World 2017 are non-stop. I can only imagine how much more busy they will get once everyone transfers to Sanya.
Our Miss Philippines, Laura Lehmann, is spreading her wings in the competition as she has gone beyond staying in the company of fellow Asian delegates. Her roommate is Do My Linh of Vietnam, but she now has sisterly bonds with ladies in just about every continent represented.
Here now is Laura’s formal introduction video for Miss World.

Before Miss World Philippines 2017 Laura Lehmann leaves for Sanya, China this coming Friday, she took the opportunity to speak her heart out during the send-off yesterday afternoon at Annabel’s Restaurant. She started off plain and heartfelt in her message then slowly segued to the heart of her piece which is about the constant bashing and criticisms being continuously thrown against the Miss World Organization and the competition itself. She started to rally members of the media to stop all the negativity and look forward to more productive comment and feedbacks that she can bring with her in the journey.

It won’t be long till Reina Hispanoamericana Filipinas 2017 Teresita Ssen Marquez departs for Sta. Cruz, Bolivia to join the other candidates vying for this year’s edition of Reina Hispanoamericana. In fact, the pageant’s IG account (@rhispanaoficial) has already started releasing the photos of the contenders starting with Argentina and Australia. Soon, our bet’s photo will be uploaded there.
In the meantime, watch out for more about Win-Wyn. She should be South-America bound by the latter part of October, 3rd week.
