Jihan Dimack is Miss Universe Tanzania for the 65th Miss Universe. And yes, she is of mixed-race with the best of Tanzania and Lebanon running in her veins. The inspiration behind her name is an Egyptian singer well-adored by her mother. She hails from the lake region of Mwanza.
When asked (during an interview with PerfectMiss.com) why she plunged into the world of pageantry, Jihan states “The experience, the risk, the challenges and the long bumpy road that always leads you to your destiny whether you win the crown or not. You learn a lot about life in general and it helps build a woman’s confidence to what true beauty really means which is YOUR HEART FROM WITHIN.“.
Do you know that Jihan looks up to Miss Universe Pia Wurtzbach so much? “I truly admire her CONFIDENCE as a woman, determination and what matters the most is having a beautiful heart from the inside and what better way to show it to the Universe!”
Jihan Dimack is not your cookie-cutter type of pageant contestant in that she possesses this wide-eyed enthusiasm to make a difference for young girls first before getting pulled in by the material trappings of the crown.
Tanzania is proud of their representative. Will her countrymen be even prouder after the results of the January 30 finals are out?
Your gut-feel about Jihan, dear readers?
