Since we’re done with Miss Universe, let us move to another part of the world where another one of our Queens is still competing. Bb. Pilipinas Supranational 2017 Chanel Olive Thomas must be feeling greater pressure now more than ever to deliver an excellent performance during the finals of Miss Supranational 2017 this coming December 1 in Krynica-Zdroj, Poland. She remains in the thick of the fight, while maintaining the genuinely warm and friendly persona with the other candidates.
Here are videos of the Swimsuit (where she slipped into a red two-piece number by Edwin Uy) and Evening Gown (wearing a Rau Uson-Ablaza creation) Preliminaries held at AquaCity Poprad and Horizont Resort respectively. Tell me your assessment of her presentation in each round.

Miss Philippines Chanel Olive Thomas stands out in any group photo she is included in, just like these shots during the visit of the Miss Supranational 2017 candidates to Fire & Water Wellness Spa at AquaCity Poprad in the Slovak Republic.
The candidates will be in the first country stop of the competition till November 20 before moving to Poland for the remaining days of the competition leading to the finals in Krynica-Zdrój on December 1.
Keep bringing the sunshine on, girl!
When Bb. Pilipinas Supranational 2017 Chanel Olive Thomas arrived at the airport in Warsaw for Miss Supranational 2017, she gave everyone a peek into the fun personality in store for the organizers and candidates. Yes, she goofs around, but with just the right amount of goofiness to show her bubbly side. Almost immediately, she propels herself back to the queenly demeanor expected from our rep.
Watch the short clip below.
Aside from the Triple Send-Off for Bb. Pilipinas 2017 Queens Rachel Peters, Chanel Olive Thomas and Katarina Rodriguez, it was also a Double Homecoming Presscon for The Miss Globe 2017 1st Runner-Up Nelda Ibe and Miss Grand International 2017 Elizabeth Clenci that made the entire event more meaningful for all members of the Press who attended.
Our departing ladies are all eager to prove their worth in the international pageant arena, especially that pressure is mounting on their anticipated successes abroad. Instead of feeling the weight on theor shoulders, the motivation is coming from the performances of everyone ahead of them. Let us now watch videos of the well-wishes given by the three departing Queens to each other.
Today, at around 3pm, the last big send-off for our Bb. Pilipinas 2017 Queens will take place at the Novotel Manila Araneta Center. A strictly invitational affair, it will be a 3-in-1 media gathering for Miss Universe Philippines 2017 Rachel Peters (who needs to be in Las Vegas by the 13th at the latest), Bb. Pilipinas Supranational 2017 Chanel Olive Thomas (who should depart for Poland soon) and Bb. Pilipinas Intercontinental 2017 Katarina Rodriguez (who still has a little more elbow room to prepare herself for Sri Lanka).
This is a must-coverage for normannorman.com as BPCI expects Joy Arguil and I to be present at the event. And we will bring the happenings to you as soon as available.
In the meantime, below is a BTS video clip of the latest photoshoot of Rachel with Raymond Saldaña as recorded by Ron Angeles. Just to whet your appetite. 🙂
Almost immediately after the release of the latest Raymond Saldaña photo of Bb. Pilipinas Supranational 2017 Chanel Olive Thomas above, it was posted on the Facebook page of Miss Supranational itself (see image below).
The organizers of the competition are very well aware of how the Philippines orchestrates the building-up of noise for its candidates. And this is the start of campaign. Trust that there will be more to come as the official BPCI send-offs start happening one after the next soon.
