Siera Bearchell will represent Canada in the 65th Miss Universe
This 23 year-old from Moose Jaw, Canada is all set to join her sisters in the 65th Miss Universe very soon. And she will handle the competition armed with the precious pageant experiences that has led her to this. You might remember her as participating in Miss Supranational 2015 and placing 1st Runner-Up to eventual winner Stephania Stegman of Paraguay. She hopes to push it one notch higher in Manila and hopefully become the 3rd Canadian to conquer the Universe.
Siera is no stranger to multi-tasking. Aside from being a Law student at the University of Saskatchewan, she is a proud entrepreneur who dabbles in photography, golf and running. If and when she becomes a full-fledged Lawyer someday, she plans to do legal work for the unprotected communities in other countries where her services will be best utilized.
Siera has gathered all her pageant experiences for the biggest mission up ahead
Siera is gearing up for the biggest mission of her young life. After stints in Miss Teen World 2009 and Miss Supranational 2015, she wants to go full steam ahead and show the pageant world that she can be a good role model and speaker for the Miss Universe Organization.
Siera is another one of those thirty (30) selected candidates who got filmed for pre-arrival videos of Miss Universe in her own hometown.
What say you about Miss Universe Canada, dear readers?

As what Miss Universe 2015 was recently quoted as saying, “There is life after pageants…
” And nobody can immediately prove this line more than her fellow Bb. Pilipinas 2015 titleholder Rogelie Catacutan who represented the country in Miss Supranational 2015 where she finished in the Top 20. After serving her 18-month contact with BPCI, she immediately pursued her job application with Saudia Airlines where she is currently in cabin crew training together with other Filipinas in Saudi Arabia.
Very soon, Rogelie will be sky-high as one of the Saudia Flight Attendants in blue (see photo of her uniform below) and traveling the world discovering new cultures and opening windows of opportunities in the process.
Best of luck in your new career, Bb. Pilipinas Supranational 2015! 😉

Don’t forget to catch Bb. Pilipinas Supranational 2015 Rogelie Catacutan in the delayed cable telecast of Miss Supranational 2015 on Star World tonight at 7:00PM! 😉
Paraguay's bet, Stephania Stegman, is Miss Supranational 2015
And Miss Supranational 2015 is Stephania Vasquez Stegman of Paraguay. She is now the first South American representative to win the crown, and a pleasant surprise of a victor at that.
Her runners-up are Siera Bearchell of Canada, Mónica Castaño Agudelo of Colombia, Tanja Ýr Ástþórsdóttir of Iceland and Mexico Karina Martín.
Miss Philippines Rogelie Catacutan made it to the Top 20.
Congratulations to all the winners!

Miss Philippines Rogelie Catacutan has one fervent wish, and that is to place prominently in the finals of Miss Supranational 2015. Better yet, she is eyeing the big prize which is the crown itself. Never mind if the opposing factors are lingering. 2013 and 2014 had Asians as winners – Mutya Datul of the Philippines and Asha Bhat of India. On top of that, there is the question of whether the organizers would be keen on the idea of rewarding the country with another victory after just a one-year skip.
Regardless, this is a beauty competition where every delegate is given the chance to shine and be considered winners. And Rogelie has clearly given her best all throughout. If it is in her fate to nail a 2nd Miss Supranational crown for the Philippines, then so be it!
May the odds be ever in your favor! 😀

Miss Supranational 2015 will be crowned in Krynica Zdrój, Poland soon. And my gut-feel is that the crown may be circling around the heads of these beautiful delegates – Karina Martín of Mexico, Rogelie Catacutan of the Philippines, Raquel Bonilla of Spain, Madli Vilsar of Estonia, Mónica Castaño Agudelo of Colombia and Angie Keith of Panama.
My biggest hunch is that a Latina could win the top prize, even if the Europeans (Spain & Estonia) and Asians (Philippines & India) are coming on very strong as well.
Be that as it may, I would not count out the candidates from Rwanda, Malaysia and the United States just yet. They can still pull a surprise.
But in the end, Mexico, Spain and Panama would definitely be the biggest stumbling blocks for our very own Rogelie Catacutan. Let’s see if our Binibini can hang on tight till the very end. Giving the crown to an Asian three times in a row could be a tall order, but not impossible.
Good luck to all the ladies! 🙂

Miss Philippines Rogelie Catacutan has gone through all the preliminary phases of competition – swimsuit, evening gown and interview. There is a waiting period from this point hereon where endless rehearsals will fill in the schedule of the candidates. My hope is that our bet has done more than enough to secure a good placement at the very least. Of course, nothing beats aiming for the Philippines’ 2nd Miss Supranational crown. We just need to stay positive but at the same time ready for any eventuality.
By the way, Rogelie wore a Cary Santiago gown (photo below) for the judging. 🙂
