Here’s a bit of a Throwback Thursday turn with the latest on Bb. Pilipinas Supranational 2012 and Miss Supranational 2012 3rd Runner-Up Elaine Kay Moll who is shown in this post as one of the new muses of Designer Bessie Besana.

The last time I spent time with Elaine was when we sat as judges during Binibining Baler 2016 last September. We really had fun during our 3 days in Aurora Province as the long road trips to and from Baler alone allowed us to bond even more.

Aside from runway modeling and fashion projects, this statuesque lady is also in the art gallery business right beside the San Juan city address where she resides. She is perfectly happy with still being single as it allowed her to pursue other opportunities coming her way. Of course, she wouldn’t mind meeting her real Mr. Right sooner or later. That should not be hard. Elaine is easy to fall for, especially if a guy prefers his forever to be long and tall. 😉

From a bountiful 2012 in Philippine Pageantry, let’s welcome 2013 with an optimistic bang!

20131 2012 was a very good year in Philippine Pageantry. And the honors weren’t just limited to mainstream beauty competitions for beautiful Filipinas. We also conquered both its Male and Transgender counterparts. A quick litany reads like an enviable record for other pageant-loving nations. Topping it all are placements in the Big 4: 1st Runner-Up in Miss Universe 2012, 1st Runner-Up (Miss Air) in Miss Earth 2012 plus Top 15 Semifinalist placements in Miss World 2012 and Miss International 2012. For Miss Supranational 2012, we also made it to Top 5 by taking 3rd Runner-Up honors. And then there is Mr. World 2012 with a 2nd place finish, preceded by a well-deserved win in Manhunt International 2012. Not to be outdone is the first-ever victory of the Philippines in Miss International Queen 2012. Whew! And I’m not yet adding a Top 5 reach of Janicel Lubina in the lesser-known Miss Scuba International or the Top 15 semis slot in Miss Asia Pacific World of Grendel Alvarado, plus last night’s victory of Rizzini Alexis Gomez as Miss Tourism International 2012!

All of these achievements by our representatives give the country excellent reasons to look forward to 2013 with unbridled enthusiasm.

Stay with me and together, we will journey into the Year of the Snake as our sash-wearers continue to slither (pun intended) their way to the top of the pageant world.

But more importantly, kudos to our very own Elaine Kay Moll for placing in the Top 5 and landing 3rd Runner-Up honors. The competition has gotten so tough that making it up there is already a mighty fine achievement given the very short time to prepare for the whole thing.

Beautiful Elaine Kay Moll in Poland!

The nice thing about Miss Supranational Philippines 2012 Elaine Kay Moll is that she has somehow transformed into a competitive lady the moment she arrived in Poland. There is always this engaging aura about her that makes her stick out in a group of beautiful candidates. Perhaps, it’s the natural glow that she exudes.

While still enjoying the Central European nation at the moment, she is headed to tougher days ahead as the preliminary competitions commence next week leading to the finals of Miss Supranational 2012 scheduled on September 14 in Warsaw. Should Kay go full steam ahead and nail the crown, she will be the first Filipina and Asian to win the title.

Elaine Kay Moll never thought she would find herself in the company of other international delegates for Miss Supranational 2012, let alone enjoy the same in the oh-so-scenic and breathtakingly beautiful country of Poland. Slowly but surely, she is winning the friendships of her equally stunning co-candidates especially the European charmers who find our ‘Kay’ a fun and delightful company. Ask her now-good-friend Julia Prokopenko from Denmark and she would agree.

Yup, our bet is definitely having the time of her life in Warsaw, Gdansk and Sopot. It’s one of those periods she wishes would never end. And may I just add that it would be an understatement to say that she is clearly a standout in the group. 🙂

The advantages are obvious, that is, if you’re one of the tallest candidates in an international beauty competition like Miss Supranational ongoing right now in Poland. Our very own Elaine Kay Moll is towering above most, if not all, her fellow contenders for the crown.

This makes it easy for Kay to stand out and be noticed, and by the way she’s choosing her get-ups – wearing dresses instead of jeans and casual blouse – one can’t help but say that she is registering as one queenly competitor.

2012 Miss Supranational Philippines Elaine Kay Moll being welcomed by pageant reps in Warsaw.

All her bags are unpacked now and she’s ready to face the competition. 2012 Miss Supranational Philippines Elaine Kay Moll arrived safely and on time in Warsaw, Poland to start her quest in becoming the first Filipina to win the Miss Supranational crown. She was given a warm welcome and was interviewed soon after landing in the Central European capital.

From hereon, it’s going to be gameface mode for our Kay. The objective won’t be a walk in the park. But if she succeeds, the rewards will be tremendous.

As I always say to our bets, best of luck! Do it for the Philippines! 😀
