At Rufo’s Famous Tapa in Paseo Center, members of the pageant media plus photographers took turns in asking questions and taking photos of our bet after she was formally awarded – along with two runners-up Danica Acuña and Kristine Eiriel Nolasco the custom-made crystal trophies and good-luck pearl earrings that form part of their prizes as this year’s top finishers.
There is a big weight now on the shoulders of Sherlyn as she really needs to step it up even more after the string of successes shown by our other Beauty Queens in the international stage. She is aware of the importance of placing in the Top 3, if not clinching the title itself come November 18 at the Sutera Harbor.

Her actual journey to the competition won’t be a breeze as she needs to fly from Manila to Kota Kinabalu before the transfer to a domestic flight to another part of Sabah and a 2-hour road trip, followed by a 90-minute beat ride to the actual diving sites where the core activities will be held. But she is ready for the ride!
