How would you like to see Mary Anne Ross Misa (left) and Anthea Murfet in Miss World Philippines 2014? (Photo credit: Paul Frederick Chiongson)

Two tall ladies. 5’10” Mary Anne Ross Misa and 5’9″ Anthea Theresa Murfet.
One is a Miss World Philippines 2012 1st Princess. The other a Miss Resorts World Manila 2nd Runner-Up.
Vivacious Vixens. Are they bound for Miss World Philippines 2014?
Or do you prefer someone else with a more noble-sounding resume?
For Ross, it could be a big risk. But then again, she backed out in what could’ve been her final attempt at Bb. Pilipinas 2014. And having already made inroads with the MWP competition in the past, she could be at a better advantage.
As for Anthea, she hasn’t really taken part in any of the big-league national pageants. MWP could be a first.

Tall and striking, this Unique Fadul.
You don’t frequently encounter a beautiful lady who answers to the name ‘Unique’. So when you get to see one, there’s no way that you won’t give her a second (or third) look. And with an enviable height of 5’11”, she literally stands without even trying. A veteran of two local pageants, she took part in Miss Resorts World Manila 2010 (won by Wendy Tabusalla) and Miss Bikini Philippines 2011 (where she placed 1st Runner-Up to Angelee Claudette delos Reyes). Hailing from Paete, Laguna, her nice blend of Filipino and Middle Eastern blood brings to fore a sensual impact, especially when she uses those big round almond eyes to her photo advantage.
Shall we see Unique Fadul queueing for an Official Candidate’s slot of Bb. Pilipinas 2013? I can sense that she just might. Keep in mind that we’re looking for a “U” and Unique is uniquely “U”. 😉

Wendy Tabulsalla outlasted 28 other beautiful ladies to win the first-ever title of Miss Resorts World Manila 2010 and is now half a million pesos richer, on top of clinching a highly-coveted employment contract with Resorts World Manila and year-round free hotel accomodations. The 5’9″ beauty edged out 1st Runner-Up Maxene Mamba and (early favorite) 2nd Runner-Up Anthea Murfet. All three ladies have been awarded employment contracts with Resorts World Manila, aside from cash prizes.
Wendy will now be the official spokesperson of the country’s first integrated tourism destination.
