Think of Miss Republic of the Philippines Beauty Pageant
as a cross between Miss America and the various competitions that gather the most beautiful representatives from different foreign communities but with similar lineage (like Miss Italia nel Mondo or Miss India Worldwide
). The winners will not be sent abroad for any international beauty contest. Instead, they will be tasked to bring and promote the distinct Philippine heritage to other parts of the world. In the process, they will also be awarded scholarship grants to finish their university studies or opt for postgraduate programs to further hone their academic specializations.
Check out below the basic informations you will need to know about Miss Republic of the Philippines Beauty Pageant.
What is Miss Republic of the Philippines all about?
Above will be the five (5) titles to be handed out
Basic qualifications to join the pageant
The organizers are looking at assembling forty (40) Official Candidates – half of them will be homegrown beauties, with the other half coming from the various Filipino communities abroad. Among them, there will be the cultural exchange and immersion between pageant delegates from abroad with Filipino lineage and those who live in the country and strongly rooted in Filipino heritage, culture & values
All of them are expected to bring to fore their standout physical qualities and significant platforms, while proving that they have the brains for the job. In fact, 50% of the scores will go to intelligence – one more facet that makes the whole exercise unique.
