2017 is the last edition of Bb. Pilipinas where Athena Catriz can apply and screen for the nationals. At 26, she is motivated to go for the opportunity to become a Binibini first, a possible titleholder after. That is, if it is written in her fate to become one of our Queens.

Pageantry is nothing new to this sweet lady from San Pedro, Laguna. In fact, she joined Miss Philippines Earth 2016 and became one of the runners-up. And prior to that, she joined the very first edition of Miss Global Philippines where she became a Tourism Ambassador which led to her appointment as Miss Summer International Philippines and 3rd Runner-Up at the bigger competition held in Barranquilla, Colombia.

Nothing can make her more happy, though, than to become an Official Candidate of Bb. Pilipinas. Fingers-crossed, she hopes to achieve that in the 54th Edition. 🙂
