Miss International Queen Philippines National Costume for Miss International Queen Pageant 2022:
It’s Fuschia wearing Fuschia by Cary Santiago
The majestic arc with the cross symbolizes triumph with the red velvet curtain symbolizing royalty.
The intricate details and patterns pays homage to the craftsmanship of our ancestors with the bosom flowers representing the decor of the ‘KARUSA’ (carriage).
The ornate doll is depicting the candidate herself. It’s Fuschia wearing Fuschia.
And as the Philippines (specifically Cebu where Fuschia hails from), just recently celebrated its Quincentennial Commemoration (500 years) of the Magallanes-Elcano Expedition, the best way to pay tribute to this momentous event is by honoring one of the traditions we have been practicing, that stood not just in the worse, but most importantly, in the best of times!
