A winner right from the start, Isabella is.
Just as I predicted, Isabella Santiago of Venezuela was crowned Miss International Queen 2014 during the finals held at Tiffany’s Show Theatre in Pattaya, Thailand last night. Her runners-up include host delegate Nitsa Katrahong who placed 2nd and Piyada Inthavong of Laos who took 3rd. She will now take over last year’s winner, Marcelo Ohio, who was just so breathtakingly beautiful during her farewell walk.
It’s a memorable victory of sorts (or a vindication if you will) for Isabella after she only placed 2nd Runner-up during Super Sireyna Worldwide hosted by Eat Bulaga in the Philippines last July.
By the way, the seven others who made the Top 10 were Kim Marie Villagalano of the Philippines, Rafaela Manfrini of Brazil, Yanki Bayramoglu of Turkey, Raika Ferraz of Brazil, Cristini Couto of Spain, Cicie Sinclair of Malaysia and Yuni Carey of Cuba.
After watching the video the video above, you can only say one thing – the Top 3 winners are simply amazing.
Tomorrow night, Miss International Queen 2014 will be crowned at Tiffany’s Show Theatre in Pattaya, Thailand. She will succeed Marcelo Ohio of Brazil who has proven to be an amazing titleholder. Out of the 25 candidates, I picked out my Top 10 (see below). I hope to see the eventual winner from any one among them.
My Top 3, if I were a judge, would be Isabella Santiago of Venezuela, Nitsa Katrahong of Thailand and Rafaela Manfrini from Brazil. But I wouldn’t count out one of the Philippine contestants, though. One of them could take it all the way if the competition favors their beauty and aura.
Good luck, ladies! 😀

Miss International Queen 2013 Marcelo Ohio (2nd from right) with the Thai entry (Nitsa Katrahong in National Costume) for Miss International Queen 2014 during the press launch of the competition.
It’s full steam ahead for Miss International Queen 2014. After the Press Launch in Bangkok last week, the Twenty-five (25) contenders for the crown currently being held by Brazil’s Marcelo Ohio are now in the Land of Smiles.
The Philippines has two (2) bets – Maria Venus Gomez and Kim Marie Villagalano. Interestingly, the host country has fielded only one (1) entry – Nitsa Katrahong – but a very strong one at that.
There will be a Talent Night & Gala Dinner come Monday at the Sofitel Bangkok Sukhumvit. So if you’re around the area or still on a vacation in the capital, do check it out.
Talent Night & Gala Dinner for Miss International Queen 2014 will happen this Monday, November 3.
All the ladies will head off to Pattaya afterwards. This is where more pre-pageant activities will take place that will lead to the finals which will be staged at Tiffany’s Show Theatre on November 7.
Watch the video of the Press Launch below. It may be in Thai, but you can still appreciate the beautiful reigning titleholder Marcelo Ohio and the fab entry of Thailand in the 2014 edition.

P.S. There is an ongoing Miss Ripley’s Popular Vote for the competition. You need to have an Instagram account to cast your ‘likes’ among the candidates. You can use this LINK to do so. Let us support our two Philippine bets here. 😉
The gorgeous Miss International Queen 2013 Marcelo Ohio of Brazil
With Super Sireyna Worldwide 2014 having its Grand Finals around this time on GMA-7’s Eat Bulaga, I thought of featuring the latest photos of the beautiful Marcelo Ohio of Brazil who was crowned Miss International Queen 2013. There is a good chance that one or a few of the finalists for the former will endeavor to take part in Miss International Queen 2014 which should happen in Pattaya, Thailand come November.
Can they live up to the high standards set by Marcelo or even our very own Kevin Balot who won the year before? The quality of candidates has been constantly rising so these ladies should pump up the competitiveness if they want to shine internationally.
Anyways, you may want to watch the Wild Card Round of Super Sireyna Worldwide 2014 aired on TV yesterday. You can also see the seven other main contenders who have already won spots in the Grand Finals. 😉
The wait may be long, but trust our Philippine entry/ies to Miss International Queen 2014 to be another excellent batch if ever. Leading the pack will be newly-crowned Miss Amazing Philippine Beauty 2013 Nathalie Arcache Masade who will give her best to do a Kevin Balot and bring honor to the country in the Pattaya-based pageant next year. Tall and shapely, she will be a force to reckon with.
