This year wasn’t the best for Philippine pageantry internationally, but not the worst either. It’s middling around the average range and pushing higher than 2019 and significantly compared to 2020. Keep in mind that I included only the competitions that I blogged about.

After the victory of Cindy Obeñita in Miss Intercontinental 2021 and Maureen Montagne in The MISS GLOBE Beauty Pageant 2021, weighty challenges await the two remaining Binibining Pilipinas 2021 titleholders Hannah Arnold and Samantha Alexandra Panlilio. I trust them to step up nicely in Japan and Thailand, respectively. Stars are aligning in favor of the Philippines!

Let us be humble so that we can continue embracing the positivity that these successes bring.
