Yesterday afternoon, Mutya ng Pilipinas 2017 2nd Runner-Up Sofia Sibug boarded the Cebu Pacific flight to Korea that will start her 3-week mission in Seoul for the newest pageant franchise acquisition of the national Mutya organization – Miss Global Beauty Queen which will have its finals on October 19. Accompanied by MPI organizers Mayenne Vijandre, Maricel Ang and Namkeen Hameed, she was briefed and oriented by no less than the Mutya ng Pilipinas President – Hemilyn Escudero-Tamayo – before boarding at NAIA Terminal 3.

For the past two weeks now, Sofia has undergone rigorous training under beauty queen maker Rodgil Flores and his KF team. She also received precious tips and advices from past Mutya international beauty queen title holders Leren Mae Bautista and Glennifer Perido.
