Miss Grand Philippines is the other spin-off pageant that will be staged nationally around middle of 2023. While it’s still several months away from the cluster of other competitions that have already set deadlines of submission late this month or early next, I do not have any intentions to obfuscate your mind as to who will join which.
But as for #GrandPossibilities, I am leaning towards this beautiful woman to be joining the beeline in the search for our representative who will eventually vie for the Golden Crown of Nawat Itsaragrisil’s Miss Grand International. Michelle Arceo – erstwhile the Miss Environment Philippines 2021 titleholder – may still be tied up with Century Tuna Superbods as the sole female runner-up in 2022, but I don’t see any conflict whatsoever should she join Miss Grand Philippines 2023.
Michelle has that vavavoom factor going for her. But make no mistake. She also has the brains to match any advocacy – be it anti-war or otherwise. I can actually picture her doing grand moves for MGI. Don’t you?

After her stint in India for Miss Environment International, Michelle Arceo is all set to file her application for Binibining Pilipinas 2022. Today is the deadline for doing so!
Tomorrow, the Preliminaries for Miss Environment International 2022 will take place in India.

Earlier today at the Grand Ballroom of B Hotel Quezon City, a triple send-off was hosted by the MWPO for three of its Queens. Firstly, Miss World Philippines 2021 Tracy Maureen Perez was given her “second” Presscon for the 70th Miss World after the postponement of its Finals last December. She will be returning to Puerto Rico later next week. On the other hand, Miss Eco Philippines Kathleen Paton (who is leaving tonight for Cairo) and Miss Environment International Michelle Arceo are all set to conquer their respective pageant assignments in Egypt and India this month. All three ladies are ready to bring pride to the country.
Next month, Miss Environment Philippines 2021 Michelle Arceo will fly to Tanzania in East Africa to represent our country in the inaugural edition of Miss Environment International 2022. If not for the pandemic, the pageant would have been staged late last year. But good thing for our bet. It gave her time to train more and shoot the wonderful environmental video below.
