And now, a message from Miss World Philippines Organization through Arnold Vegafria:
All eyes are on Miss Eco Teen International PH bet Roberta Angela “Ro-An” Tamondong as pageant fans eagerly await the countdown for the 2020 Miss Eco Teen International coronation night tonight (1:00 am, Manila time) live from the Albatros White Beach Resort in Hurghada, Egypt.
The statuesque 18-year-old stunner from San Beda College has been a clear favorite from day one, and based on her outstanding performance during the pageant preliminaries from the past week, Ro-An has a very good chance of clinching the crown.
To date, she continues to impress pageant critics and netizens alike, not just because of her eye-catching glam photos, but also because of her wit and spunk, and more importantly, her relevant environmental advocacies as well.
Miss World Philippines National Director Arnold Vegafria, who holds the official PH franchise for Miss Eco Teen International, is confident that Ro-An can very well carry the torch and keep up the country’s winning streak in the global pageant arena.
“She’s a clear standout, and she embodies all the essential traits of the classic Filipina beauty,” he says, as Ro-An continues to tower head and shoulders above the rest of her cohorts as they head towards the pageant’s final homestretch tonight.
Let’s all wave our flag proudly as we cheer for Ro-An’s victory!!!
Miss Eco Teen Philippines 2020 Roberta Angela Tamondong was named winner of the Miss Eco Teen 2020 Eco Dress Competition (or Eco Dress Prime) where she wore a Filipiniana made of recycled materials.
Joining her in the Top 3 as runners-up are Paraguay and Danielle Isabelle Dolk of the Netherlands.
Congratulations❣️

Earlier today, a zoom conference sendoff was held in honor of Miss Eco Teen Philippines 2020 Ro-An Tamondong before her scheduled departure for Egypt tomorrow evening to represent the country in Miss Eco Teen 2020 that will run from November 25-December 5.
Also present was her predecessor Mary Daena Zaide Resurreccion who placed in the Top 5 during last year’s edition of the same pageant.
Hopes are high that Ro-An will bring home the crown this time around.

With the Official Statement from Harlijk Mirasol of Harlijk Productions (please read below) giving way to Miss World Philippines Organization in sending a Philippine delegate to Miss Eco Teen in Hurghada, Egypt, Danielle Isabelle Dolk (who holds dual citizenship 🇵🇭 🇳🇱) will now represent the Netherlands in the international competition.
On the other hand, Roberta Ann “Ro-An” Tamondong will now be the handpicked Miss Eco Teen Philippines by MWPO to wear the country’s sash in the same pageant. Pending an official announcement from the organization, she will need to apply for and secure a Tourist Visa to Egypt as soon as possible so she can fly to the host city by November 25.
I am optimistic that everything will be finalized in time – or the nick of time if you will. It will be nice to see two Lagunenses taking part in #MissEcoTeen2020.
OFFICIAL STATEMENT
November 17, 2020
Harlijk Productions is the official franchise holder of Miss Eco & Miss Eco Teen titles for Canada, and several other titles for the Philippines. In preparation for the upcoming Miss Eco Teen International Finals, we were asked casually by the organization if it was possible for us to send a Philippine delegate just for this year since the current Philippine license holder would not be able to send a delegate because of the recent typhoon that has devastated the nation. We were assured there would be no issue with the organization. As a pageant fanatic, an international competition is not as exciting to follow without a Philippine candidate, so we submitted a delegate that the Teen Eco Organization formally accepted and announced on their social media platforms.
In the past 24 hours, 3 days after our candidate was announced as Miss Eco Teen International Philippines, the Philippine license holder apparently had a change of heart and decided they will send a delegate. To avoid dragging the issue into something that it should not be, while we have the Teen Eco Organization’s early approval to send Philippines as made evident by their numerous social media posts between November 13 to 16, 2020, we have decided to step back and allow a new Miss Eco Teen Philippines to compete. We do not wish to make this an ugly mess because it is not. We participate in pageants with the primary goal of showcasing the best qualities of the Filipinos and of our empowered young women.
In light of these recent developments, DANIELLE ISABELLE DOLK will still be heading to Hurghada, Egypt, to compete in the Miss Eco Teen International 2020. Danielle is a dual citizen and also holds a Dutch passport. She will wear the Netherlands sash in the competition while still showcasing on a global stage the beauty, charm, intelligence, and passion that makes a Filipina shine, and the diversity and multi-culturalism that is innate in her as a Filipina-Dutch woman. She has the unwavering support of her team and our group. This is a win-win scenario for everyone and we hope this settles the matter peacefully.
We ask everyone – pageant fans, media, supporters, family, and friends to continue to support Danielle and all the ladies competing in the pageant. Thank you and have an amazing week ahead.
Mabuhay po tayong lahat!
DR. HARLIJK MIRASOL
