The Miss Earth Philippines 2019 Press Presentation was held at the Diamond Hotel Poolside earlier with the forty-two (42) Official Candidates introduced to members of the media in their swimsuits.
There were many among the contenders who caught the eye of the Press. But after the tallying of votes, medals for Darling of the Press were given to:
Gold: Leandrea Batingan of San Jose del Monte City
Silver: Zahra Bianca Saldua of Las Piñas City
Bronze: Celeste Cortesi of Fil-Rome, Italy
Just a little over a week before the finals on May 19 at the Mall of Asia Arena. This is the time when the running favorites will continue to widen their lead, with one or two spoilers starting to peak and become potential Elemental winners in the end.

The #EarthWarriors have a lot more deciding pre-pageant activities in the coming weeks so the list could still change. And once the finals night on May 19 approaches in the homestretch, I will be more confident in ranking them.
More about Miss Earth Philippines 2018 soon!
From the minute the plane landed in Laguindingan Airport, the entire Province of Misamis Oriental rolled out the red carpet to the visiting beauties of Miss Earth Philippines 2018 along with Miss Earth 2017 Karen Ibasco, Miss Earth Philippines Fire 2017 Ella Bautista and Carousel Productions’ VP Peachy Veneracion. Your blogger was given a special invitation to be part of the delegation and I must say that the Provincial Tourism Department of MisOr made sure that each activity was an exciting one, while actively promoting the tourism efforts started by its beloved and indefatigable Governor Yevgeny Vincente “Bambi” Emano.
After checkin at Appletree Resort and Hotel in Opol, a lovely dinner was hosted at the plush Ultrawinds Mountain Resort on the first night, then it was off to a morning radio guesting with the Governor for Lambo Misamis Oriental, a fashion show (featuring the Summer Collection of Designer Bea Bianca) and travel magazine launch at the Centrio Mall, Press Conference with the Misamis Oriental members of the media, speedboat rides to breathtaking Agutayan White Island, a trek to Sagpulon Falls, a peek into the Sailfin Lizard Farm in Jasaan, a promotional appearance at the Misamis Oriental Farmers Market and a Meet-and-Greet with all the Provincial Capitol heads and employees. To cap off everything, a sumptuous dinner buffet at Panagatan Restaurant was served before boarding a late flight out of Laguindingan last night.
Thank you once more to Governor Bambi Emano and Tourism Officer Atty. Jeffrey Saclot for the continuously warm hospitality given to everyone.
