You will all remember Klára Vavrušková as the Czech representative to Miss Earth 2019 where she won the title of Miss Water.
For the 69th Miss Universe, this stunningly beautiful native of Prague has been appointed as Miss Czech Republic. Keen on her environmental advocacy started years back, she is always for the protection of our planet. With the help of her family, she was able to plant trees in the Czech forests. She hopes to spread this mission to the younger generations.
Klára is a student of Dental Hygiene, and loves making others feel more confident by helping them achieve a beautiful smile. But in Hollywood, Florida, she will definitely spread her joy and positivity first by hopefully achieving another honor for her home country.

Sharing with you now the official shot (or portrait, if you will) of Miss Earth 2019 Nellys Pimentel with the crown. This was taken by Abnel Gonzalez Photography.
It certainly is a bummer that the pandemic crisis has left our beautiful Puerto Rican unable to frequently travel to different countries due to international flight restrictions. But I’m pretty sure she will have some travels lined up once everything gets settled with the new normal soon.
Mother Earth needs her presence felt.
Big shoutout from Manila all the way to Puerto Rico:
Miss Earth 2019 Nellys Pimentel!
Always stay safe and continue to be an inspiration in protecting Mother Earth especially during these trying times…
We miss you here in Manila❣️

Back Home in Puerto Rico!
Here are photos from the arrival of Miss Earth 2019 Nellys Pimentel at the airport in Puerto Rico where she was met by her family and friends plus some media representatives. It was a simple yet emotionally heartfelt homecoming for this lovely Queen.
Congratulations to Miss Earth 2019 Nellys Pimentel of Puerto Rico 🇵🇷! This is the first time that the Caribbean state won the crown. She was a top favorite right from the start, and held on to the lead especially when it mattered most.

Presenting the National Costume of Miss Philippines Earth 2019 Janelle Lazo Tee for Miss Earth 2019 as designed by my dear Patrick Isorena:
Janelle is wearing a National Costume that represents the “The Mother of All Philippine Festivals” – the #AtiAtihan – a feast held annually in January in honor of the Santo Niño (Infant Jesus), Held on the third Sunday, in the town of Kalibo.
The name Ati-Atihan means “to be like Atis” or “to make believe Atis”, the local name for the Aeta aborigines. The festival consists of tribal dance, music, accompanied by indigenous costumes and weapons, and parade along the street. It has inspired many other Philippine Festivals including the Sinulog Festival of Cebu and Dinagyang of Iloilo City.

The Press Presentation of Miss Earth 2019 took place in three different spots inside Diamond Hotel Manila. First, the 85 Official Candidates did their floral and advocacy introductions at the Diamond Ballroom before heading over to the hotel’s main lobby for a big group photo. Right after, they slipped into their Ricky Abad swimsuits and gathered at the poolside for a nice traditional shot.
This year’s floral theme made the entire proceedings more colorful as each Earth Warrior showed pride in the national flowers of their countries with corresponding medicinal qualities.
No Darling of the Press was awarded this time around, but instead, each of the ladies gifted guests with a plant seedling the recipient could grow into a tree – reason for their hashtag #meandmytree.
Miss Malta Alexia Tabone was the delegate who gifted me with a guyabano plant seedling.
Early favorites are the delegates from Puerto Rico, India, Ghana, Spain, Netherlands, South Africa, USA, Belarus, Philippines, Poland, Czech Republic, Brazil and Australia.
Between now and next week, the ladies will be traveling around the Philippines for their assigned eco-tours in Misamis Oriental, Davao, Batangas, Cavite and Bataan. Different segments of the competition will also take place in different parts of Metro Manila plus Albay and Pampanga.
More about Miss Earth 2019 soon!
