After conquering Manila and Berlin, Designer Renee Salud brings his Mindanao Tapestry to Canada where the Vancouver leg was just completed. Along with beauty queens – Miss Earth 2014 Jamie Herrell, Miss Tourism Queen of the Year International 2015 Leren Mae Bautista, former Binibini Justine Felizarta & Miss Philippines Earth 2013 Angelee delos Reyes – and professional models walking on the ramp, he continues to wow everyone with the collection.

This is the fashion show that was brought to Berlin and took the German city by storm – “Mindanao Tapestry | Neo Fashion Fusion of Renee Salud and the Mindanao Weavers” – and which was presented in a well-attended event last night at Marco Polo Ortigas Manila. Some familiar faces among the models stood out like Leren Mae Bautista, Angelee delos Reyes, Hannah Ruth Sison and Justine Gabionza.

Designer Renee Salud was visibly in his elements in this collection as the indigenous materials used for the collection really brought out Philippine Pride in the painstakingly patient efforts of the Women of Mindanao in weaving the fabrics used to complete the creations made.
