People have asked me what the difference is between Version 2020/21 and Version 2022 of #Binibini5 Karen Laurrie Mendoza. I think the answer is obvious. She is definitely more confident and beautifully aggressive at that.

Before, the courage to compete was already in place. Now, she knows what she wants and won’t mince words anymore. This Ilongga is in it for the long haul if Binibining Pilipinas crowns her as one of its winners on July 31.

Christine Opiaza

#Binibini34 Christine Opiaza of Zambales established an indelible presence during the Binibining Pilipinas 2022 Press Presentation, especially during the swimsuit segment. She is fire onstage. And the minute she projects with piercing stare and lips half open, all the members of the audience can do is respond with oohs and aahs. Check out the images in this post and you’ll see what I mean.

Gut feel tells me that she has a clear trajectory to one of the crowns. If she plays her cards right, she will get one on her head soon enough.

Jasmine Omay

#Binibini39 Jasmine Omay has always brought pride to Tarlac everytime she represents the province in pageants and other competitive events. This tall and winsome beauty plays the violin as talent, but can fly a plane as a future profession. That can temporarily wait, though. She needs to give it her best in Binibining Pilipinas 2022 where she can soar high to planned dreams if the final results will be in her favor.

Anna Caress de Mesa

I have always had a distinct fondness for #Binibini32 Anne De Mesa of Batangas – an interest which started during her first national pageant last year. She has this beautiful face with delicate features and a stare that stays inside my head long after an encounter.

As she resurfaces in Binibining Pilipinas 2022, I can see a fiercer presence that can only mean stronger preparations for this bid. Ready as she’ll ever be, I must say of her.

Annalena Valencia Lakrini

I had difficulty remembering her full name the very first time I was personally introduced to her acquaintance. I got stuck with Anna as soon as I felt so awestruck with her imposing height. We talked about the silliest topics during that meeting, but it was more than enough to see through her pleasant character and gentle disposition.

Soon enough, #AnnalenaValenciaLakrini assumed the #Binibini25 hashtag. The Province of Bataan must be feeling proud of their representative. And whatever happens in Binibining Pilipinas 2022, I reckon that she will call my name out – Tito Norman! – everytime we see each other.

Nicole Borromeo

#Cebu has always been a treasure trove of winning beauties in the national level of pageantry. Some of its Queens have also figured out well internationally. And so it comes as no surprise that one of two Cebuana Binibinis in Binibining Pilipinas 2022 is being tagged as part of the favorites to win a crown.

#Binibini23 Nicole Borromeo can easily be in the running as one of the prime faces in this year’s batch. She won’t stop at that, however. Eyes on the prize!

Cyrille Payumo

When you’re someone like #Binibini26 Cyrille Payumo of Porac, Pampanga who is genetically gifted with legs that stretch for days, chances are that towering over others is an everyday advantage. Add to that her beautiful face and we have a Binibini who can stand head and shoulders above the competition.

Having already won a pandemic-affected international beauty title in the recent past, Cyrille can just sit back and not worry about reaching for another national victory. Not this Kapampangan, though. She wants to experience the whole nine yards of it all, fruitful physical reign included.

Nicole Budol

The biggest driving force in her bid for a Binibining Pilipinas 2022 crown is the huge social media presence that helps in creating impact to an established fanbase in different parts of the country.

#Binibini8 Herlene Nicole Budol of Angono, Rizal can pile up popularity points with just one TikTok post or YouTube vlog – not to mention the clips you can see of her on the Facebook newsfeed. For the uninitiated, this is uber demanding hard work on her part.

Stripped of the numbers, Herlene is void of pretensions. She is just as eager as the other Binibinis to prove her worthiness as a winner – and a deserving one at that.
