Here are photos from the recently-concluded Meet-and-Greet of Binibini Meiji Cruz of Valenzuela with the pageant media. This lady is a potential spoiler in the ongoing competition of Bb. Pilipinas 2021. And if she accurately plays her game plan between now and April 17, she just might nail a precious victory. After all, hardwork and loyalty can have its rewards.
All these images were taken at the poolside of Kagandahang Flores KF for Crown. for Country.
Behold your #Binibini8 Meiji Cruz of Valenzuela in her Bb. Pilipinas National Costume created by Manny Halasan:
The National costume is inspired by #Lakapati, Goddess of agriculture and fertility.
Lakapati literally means “giver of food” and prosperity. She promotes abundance in the field and crops and she protects farm animals from disease. She is a symbol of harvest, thanksgiving, and protection.
The wings design is inspired by the dragon fly which means new beginning.
The gown is made of French lace with brass metal works pearls rhinestones and Swarovski crystals.

Below are the #IAMBINIBINI introduction videos of the first half of the Bb. Pilipinas 2020 candidates. You will notice that there are still missing (or skipped) Binibinis. I am simply relying on what the organizers are uploading in their YouTube channel. Hence, the efforts of 5, 7, 11, 16 and 20 are still not here.
Make way for these wise queens as they shop ‘til they drop wearing BRAGAIS™️ Cristy & Darylle.
Then feel the power of our modern Filipina queens as they stood their ground confidently and independently with BRAGAIS™️ Gazini and Jehza.

Since the official swimwear photos of the 40 Binibinis of Bb. Pilipinas 2020 will be presented in four groups of ten on different days, it makes things a little easier to judge the standouts in each. By the time we finish with the last batch, we may have already come up with a relatively more definitive Top 20. Of course, it is not entirely fair for whichever group of ten has far more outstanding ladies than the other. At any rate, let’s do it since this will be based solely on photos.
For Binibinis 1-10, it is obvious that the two most crown-worthy contenders are #Binibini4 Patrizia Garcia and #Binibini9 Patricia Denise Babista. As reader Flor would put it, these two beauties can easily grab crowns if it were only the first ten ladies remaining.
I would personally add #Binibini8 Meiji Cruz and #Binibini7 Shanon Tampon for their pageant maturity. They are both beautiful as well. My fifth spot would be for #Binibini10 Shaira Rona because – aside from being the tallest here, she has the budding potential to shine far better when it matters most. I would love to see #Binibini1 Samantha Panlilio because of her excellent communication skills and pedigree. But then again, height still has its advantage in pageantry.
Looking forward to Binibinis 11-20 now. This is the group where it will be tougher to separate the upper from the lower half.
Here are Binibinis 1-10 in their official swimwear photos for Bb. Pilipinas 2020. Release of the next group of ten will not automatically follow so you can appreciate this group first, as per BPCI’s social media team.

A virtual Santacruzan it will be for Bb. Pilipinas 2020. Because of the pandemic crisis, the Binibinis will have to be dolled up off-site and presented as sagalas online. It takes some getting used to, but this is already a sneak peek into the new normal – the BPCI way.
Below are three more ladies to feast your eyes on.

Binibini10 Shaira Rona in Ray Bien Maglonzo. Makeup by Kiev Torres. Crown by Omar Sali

The extension has given your blogger additional time to feature the other unidentified ladies in the Top 61 of Bb. Pilipinas 2014.
So for this next post, please welcome Lara Angelica Fontanilla.

This young lady with the cat-like pair of eyes similar to that of Emma Tiglao got me stumped somehow.
Except for the name and screening photos, the 411 on Lara remains seriously scarce. An unverified info has her being tagged as coming from Valenzuela City and a 4th Runner-Up in Bb. Valenzuela 2010 (when Binibini alumna Meiji Cruz was 1st Runner-Up). There’s nothing much to go on beyond that.
At any rate, this 5’6″ish aspirant remains in the hunt for one of the O.C. slots in this year’s nationals. Will she get lost in the constant shuffle or perhaps surprise pageant watchers with an entry into the Top 40?
