Miss Universe 1973 Margarita “Margie” Moran is currently the President of Ballet Philippines. And since the dance company is celebrating its 50th Anniversary and 50th Season this year, a collaboration with world-renowned Fashionable Designer Michael Cinco was set in motion.
In this blog entry are two of her photos taken inside the CCP (Cultural Center of the Philippines) where she is so elegantly dressed in a black creation of the said designer. She still looks as gloriously beautiful as the day she won our country’s second Miss Universe crown in Athens, Greece.
Do watch the video below which promotes the 50th Season of Ballet Philippines.

During the Habitat for Humanity
& Women Build Event of Bb. Pilipinas 2015 and Coca-Cola Philippines, the Binibinis had the chance of getting up close and personal with Miss Universe 1973 Margarita Moran while doing volunteer work in building houses for the organization which “…has played an active role in providing decent, durable and affordable housing for low-income families.
In their pink Habitat for Humanity t-shirts and yellow hard hats, the ladies actually performed some tough tasks like mixing cement, carrying and putting hollow blocks in place and even cutting wood and steel. Whew! I couldn’t perform those things myself.
Kudos to our lovely Binibinis who were game enough to do some construction duties even for a day. 😉

You don’t get to see Binibinis mixing cement the way they are doing it above.
Who cares about carrying hollow blocks even if it means getting their manicured nails chipped or lotion-fed arms stretched under the heat of the sun?
