Every year for the past few, the Bb. Pilipinas Official Candidates make their usual visits to Manhattan Garden City, the well—appointed condominium buildings at the Araneta Center developed in cooperation with Megaworld Properties. The Binibinis of 2018 just dropped by the place this week and appreciated the cool digs that can be called #HomeForTheQueens.
Here are some photos of the ladies during the said activity.

Dindi Pajares for Manhattan Garden City
This is one of the more important sponsor visits of the Binibinis every year as Manhattan Garden City at The Araneta Center always plays a major part in the holding of the pageant each year. MCPI & Empire East President and CEO Atty. Anthony Charlemagne Yu welcomed all forty ladies to the high-rise property that has significantly changed the skyline of the Cubao commercial area.
All ladies had fun doing the “Best Selfie” contest that the hosts started plus a raffle of some juicy loot bags won by five of them.
As for the next confirmed pre-pageant event this year, mark the date for April 8 as the Talent Competition will be held either at Gateway or Farmers Plaza. After that, there will be a Santacruzan-like parade around Araneta Coliseum on April 22. 🙂
The photos above coincided with the visit of the Bb. Pilipinas 2014 Official Candidates to Megaworld Properties where they also dropped by the Empire East Elite office to check out the model condominium units of Manhattan Garden City.
Wouldn’t it be nice to give away two (2) studio units as prize for the Top 2 winners? That would be asking for the moon, of course. But come to think of it, they will be living just a stone’s throw away from the BPCI offices. Convenience to the max. 😉

When Manhattan Gardens City – the prime real estate development of the Aranetas – held its Grand Opening last weekend, the event was made more special with the presence of all Bb. Pilipinas Gold winners (Ara, Bea, Cindy, Mutya and Pia) plus Shamcey Supsup and Venus Raj. And when the ladies were asked to line up and pose by the poolside, you can’t help but be amused by their individual poses.
People say that body language speaks a lot about the personality of an individual. If you had to use adjectives to describe the poses of the seven ladies above, what would the words be? 😉
Work: Print and Commercial Model; ex-Pinoy Big Brother Teen Edition 2008 housemate
The excitement for Binibining Pilipinas 2012 is really starting to heat up. And why not? Coming from the impressive performance of our beauty queens this year, there is particular interest in the 2012 edition because the Philippines has to sustain the placement record.
In comes Valerie Weigmann. You may remember her as one of the housemates in ABS-CBN’s Pinoy Big Brother Teen Edition last 2008. She did not win that one, but was given by the network a string of small TV projects. Unfortunately, her star did not shine bright enough to become a celebrity of major reckoning. She went into modelling. And this is where her beautiful face started to get noticed by advertisers. What followed were TV commercials for C2 Green Tea and Myra Vita-White, with more to come.

Given Valerie’s nicely-tempered Fil-German mix and good height, will she step up to the plate for Binibining Pilipinas 2012? And if she does, do you think she has what it takes to win one of the crowns? I think she has great potentials that can be enhanced with further training and polish. My first of two worries (if this can indeed be considered as one) is her previous photoshoot (watch video above) with Rogue Magazine where she posed topless (although only her bare back was facing the camera) on the cover. And here’s my bigger worry…and this could be the nail in the coffin so to speak. She is a contracted endorser of Century Properties – something that would spell conflict of interest against the centerpiece property development – Manhattan Garden City – of the Aranetas.
And don’t go suggesting that she tries her luck in Miss World Philippines instead because there will be another problem. SM Development Corporation is a major backer of the pageant.
Hi! Norman here. When I'm not working, I spend most of my free time planning on daily blogs. If you will notice, I always make sure that a fresh topic comes out everyday - not an easy thing to do but it's all good. Thanks for dropping by and enjoy the visit!
