I have had the chance to know a good chunk of the 43 Miss Earth Philippines 2018 Official Candidates the past week and a half. I must say that I am impressed with a lot of them. The #EarthWarriors have a lot more deciding pre-pageant activities in the coming weeks so the list could still change. And once the finals night on May 19 approaches in the homestretch, I will be more confident in ranking them.
More about Miss Earth Philippines 2018 soon!
“Dyosa ng Inang Kalikasan” (Goddess of Mother Earth) is the theme for Miss Philippines Earth 2018. And starting April 21, the Pre-Pageant events will begin with the Resort Wear Competition to be held at Laus Event Center in Pampanga. From there, a succession of carefully-planned activities will follow one after another leading to the May 10 Press Presentation at Diamond Hotel Manila and the May 19 Coronation Night to be held at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.
Here are some of this year’s Earth Warriors (including Naomie White of Fil-Comm Sydney on the left photo above) who will compete along with the other ladies to complete a roster of forty:
Hot on the heels of Bb. Pilipinas 2018 is Miss Philippines Earth 2018 which has already started to assemble its roster of Official Candidates for this year’s edition. There are a few familiar faces like Noelle Uy-Tuazon, Zarah Bianca Saldua and Jean Nicole de Jesus. The majority, though, are fresh faces in the national level who are taking their big leaps into the big pageant stage. Names like Berjayneth Chee, Liz Mabao, Brazzirie Yanson, Theressa Martinez, Gabrielle Camille Badiang and Naomie White don’t ring a bell yet. But they will soon!
Pre-pageant activities will go into full swing after the Lenten Season all the way to the Finals Night at the SM Mall of Asia Arena on May 19.
Here are some of the 2018 Earth Warriors for your initial consideration.
Meet Liz Mabao, an Official Candidate of the Philippines for Miss Princess World International 2018 scheduled to be held in the Dominican Republic this coming April, 2018.
This 19 year-old student and model stands 5’6.5”. Just last week, she went to her home province of Samar where she made a courtesy call with Catbalogan Vice-Mayor Art Sherwin Gabon who pledged support for her overseas pageant mission.
