Her full name is Graciella Sheine Aclan Lehmann. But you can call her ‘Gratz’ for short. She is 21 years old with Filipino, Swiss and German ethnicity. And she is your Binibini32 in Bb. Pilipinas 2020 who is advocating for Breast Health and Cancer Awareness.
“I used to be a campus journalist, immersing myself into writing and radio broadcasting during my secondary and tertiary years.” volunteered Gratz. “And now, I am working as a Lead Cabin Crew in a local airline – Cebu Pacific.”
Now about that Laura Lehmann connection everyone is asking about.
“Unfortunately, I am not related to Laura po as much as I would love to…”
Is there any personal attachment to breast cancer awareness that you chose it to be your advocacy?
“Yes, tito. I have come up with the said advocacy since I have undergone breast incision twice. With that being said, uncontrollable growth of lumps in my breast made me realize that I have to share to the public that it is through knowledge and self-examination that we can battle and control risks of breast-related diseases. I had early detection po kasi, na it is not dangerous, and we always have a chouce if we want to have it removed or not. But in my case, I had it removed, and I am aware that up until 35 years old, I can still acquire lumps but it is not as dangerous as people think.”
So there. An introduction to Graciella Lehmann for all of you. More about her soon!
Exactly one Sunday from this date, the finals of Miss World Philippines 2018 will culminate in the much-anticipated finals that will be held at the Mall of Asia Arena. And more than knowing who the next winners will be, I am curious to find out what new title/s will be announced (if the organizers are already at liberty to make them known on nationwide TV and social media).
As for the reigning titleholders, they have only one more week before handing away their national titles. Check out the interview below where GMA Network conducted a casual interview with Laura Lehmann, Win-Wyn Marquez, Cynthia Thomalla and Sophia Seneron.
Earlier in the day, the Miss World Philippines Organization conducted its screening of candidates for Mr. World Philippines 2018 at the House Manila. The good-looking (and nicely desirable) Filipino aspirants trooped to the venue where they were assessed by a panel headed by Miss World Philippines 2017 Laura Lehmann amd Miss Eco International 2018 Cynthia Thomalla.
There is a good assortment of applicants who came – models, professionals, students, showbiz upstarts and previous pageant winners.
It’s still too early to tell how the actual competition will unravel for #MrWorldPhilippines2018, but the two aspirants who really stood out today have something in common between the two of them – Italy.
Marco Poli – Fil-Italian who at 6’3” is the tallest enlister today. He has a quiet charm all his own. But once he speaks, one can sense the no-nonsense quality of his answers. He is also one mean chef in the kitchen.
Former Mister Philippines titleholder Denver Hernandez – a full-blooded Filipino raised in Italy who is a force onstage and off because of his very masculine appeal, much like a discerning brute who mixes Pinoy suave with Italian machismo. He represented the country in the Dominican Republic during Men Universe Model 2017.
Let’s see if these two guys can sustain the marked impressions or allow the other comers to get in the way of getting closer to the titles at stake. They are shoo-ins to become Official Candidates, after all.
Earlier at the Diplomatic Hall of Marriott Hotel Manila, Mr. World 2018 got its proper media launch with the presence of Miss World 2017 Manushi Chhilar, Mister World 2016 Rohit Khandelwal, MWO’s Steve Douglas, MWPO’s Arnold Vegafria and Bessie Besana and Miss World Philippines 2017 Laura Lehmann.
The ssarch for the World’s Most Desirable Man – originally scheduled for a September, 2018 finals – has now been moved to January 27, 2019 at the Resorts World Manila to give the host country more time to prepare for the next edition which promises to have at least a hundred male delegates. Big number for a Male pageant!
Here are more photos from the said launch.

There was queenly presence alright at the World Plaza in BGC yesterday during the formal unveiling of the first ever PLDT-Smart store – a one-stop digital hub and converged store which caters to customers from PLDT Group’s three flagship brands: PLDT, Smart and Cignal.
All the reigning Bb. Pilipinas 2018 titleholders – Catriona Gray, Ma Ahtisa Manalo, Jehza Huelar, Eva Patalinjug, Karen Gallman and Michele Gumabao – plus Miss World Philippines 2017 Laura Lehmann were present to check out the opening, as well as try out some of the services on offer.
Below are more photos from the event.
Miss Eco Philippines 2017 Cynthia Thomalla was given her send-off to Miss Exo International 2018 at the Full Belly Craft Kitchen in Quezon City. Her Miss World Philippines Organization family – headed by National Director Arnold Vegafria and General Manager Bessie Besana – were present along with Laura Lehmann, Teresita Ssen Marquez, Sophia Senoron and Glyssa Perez.
Cynthia will leave for Cairo, Egypt soon and will endeavour to win the crown come April 26 so that she can add up to the #1 finishes of Teresita in Reina Hispanoamericana 2017 and Sophia in Miss Multinational.
Best of luck in the mission up ahead!
From April 10-28, 2018, all roads lead to Cairo, Egypt for this year’s edition of Miss Eco International – the last overseas mission of the Miss World Philippines 2017 titleholders after Laura Lehmann, Teresita Ssen Marquez and Sophia Senoron. This time, the uber gorgeous Miss Eco Philippines Cynthia M. Thomalla is getting ready to claim her own brand of achievement by hopefully following in the #1 successes the country reached in Bolivia’s Reina Hispanoamericana and India’s Miss Multinational.
For the uninitiated, Miss Eco International Beauty Pageant was founded by the LTCP-UN project. It brings together representatives of different cultures and traditions from all over the world. Its main objective is to promote the importance of saving our planet environmentally in addition to marketing tourism across the world. This competition focuses on the wellness of the mind, body and spirit of all the candidates that represent all the countries
from all over the world.
I have always had confidence in Cynthia to do well in the international level of competition. She has the bright-eyed stand-out looks and bubbly personality that will serve as her biggest plus points in charming the host city, organizers, locals and fellow candidates. What’s more she is motivated by the performances of her “sisters” and would like to add another big win in the final tally of their collective efforts.
Below is the video of Cynthia’s Q&A last year en route to being crowned Miss Eco Philippines. Please watch it again as her message rings loud and clear, especially to recent potshots that stir unnecessary intrigues to her affiliation with beauty queen-friends who have been involved in a recent social media issue that stemmed during Bb. Pilipinas 2018.
Let us support her bid for Miss Eco International instead, and not dwell on unpleasant talks that can only be counter-productive at the very least.
