Miss Earth Japan 2012 Megumi Noda
When Megumi Noda starts competing for Japan in Miss Earth 2012, she will be mighty proud of her growing-up years which contributed a lot to her love and appreciation of Mother Earth. The 25 year-old looker from Shiga Prefecture was raised in the Satoyama where the virgin forest and mountain foothills meet the rice paddy fields of the flatlands. She is also proud to have lived near Lake Biwa.
This Japanese nature lover has more to her ecological interest than meets the eye. And she will put all of this practical knowledge to good use in all the Miss Earth activities and challenges that are sure to make this year’s batch extra appreciative of the organization’s causes and objectives.
Will Megumi Noda win her country’s first Miss Earth crown and, in the process, sustain the momentum started by Ikumi Yoshimatsu in Miss International 2012? We shall see! š
