Beauty camp Kagandahang Flores (KF) has already uploaded fourteen (14) of the thirty-one (31) official close-up photos of their Binibinis for Bb. Pilipinas 2018. I took the liberty of highlighting the potential flag-bearers in this group and they are ABS-CBN celebrity/former Mutya ng Pilipinas Vickie Marie Rushton and Presidential Cabin Crew/former Miss Philippines Water Murielle Adrienne Isidore Orais.

Getting to know the #KF2018 Ladies: Vickie Marie Rushton

Hailing from Bacolod, the beautiful Vickie Marie Rushton has led a colorful life in both pageantry and showbusiness.

She was Mutya ng Pilipinas 2011 and was supposed to compete in that year’s Miss Intercontinental. Unfortunately, the continuous delay of the holding of the pageant prompted her to give way to another lady (Kathleen Po) to represent us instead.

And then in 2014, she auditioned for and got in the Pinoy Big Brother program of ABS-CBN as a housemate. From that point, she started a showbiz career that saw her last in the hit primetime teleserye “Ang Probinsyano”. She is the girlfriend of actor Jason Abalos who is now with GMA-7.

This year, Vickie is returning to the pageant scene via Bb. Pilipinas 2018. She filed her application yesterday at BPCI and is well on her way to attending the screenings soon. The video below is a clip from “Ang Probinsyano” where she played the character of Amanda.

If you’re a keen pageant observer, our subject matter for this entry will come as a familiar face – but her old version, though. She took part in the 2013 edition of Miss World Philippines won by eventual Miss World winner Megan Young. This year, Samantha Mae Bernardo of Palawan comes forward as one of the #KF2018 ladies for Bb. Pilipinas 2018. She has been totally repackaged for the competition. Read some basic information about her below.

SAMANTHA BERNARDO, 25 years old from Puerto Princesa City Palawan an aspiring candidate for BINIBINING PILIPINAS 2018. A competitive rhythmic gymnast for 9 years during her elementary and high school year and always represents Palawan in National Competition. A CULTURE AND ARTS ADVOCATE and former President of Cultural Group that Showcases Philippine Tradition through Folkdances, The PSU Sining Palawan Dancetroupe.

Here are KF Cebu’s bets for Bb. Pilipinas 2018:

Eva Patalinjug – the former Mutya ng Pilipinas titleholder who is now dead-set on nailing another national crown that will allow her to compete abroad;

Doc Ena Louis Velasco – the Doctor of Medicine who plans to use the national platform in furthering her causes for health and wellness.
