She really planned to arrive in the host city two days earlier to acclimatize herself and settle in nicely before the tough competition ahead begins.
Tonight, Reina Hispanoamericana Filipinas Katrina S. Llegado boarded Philippine Airlines PR126 that will bring her to New York. From there, she will connect to the flight en route to Sta. Cruz, Bolivia where she will begin the once-interrupted journey to the Reina Hispanoamericana crown.
This time, our Reina is super prepared. And she will give it one hell of a fight!

#ReinaHispanoamericanaFilipinas2019 Katrina S. Llegado has more time to prepare for her international competition. The organizers of Reina Hispanoamericana have officially confirmed that the 2019 edition has now been moved to February, 2020, with the finals set for February 8 in Sta. Cruz, Bolivia.
In what is a collaborative event hosted by the Miss World Philippines Organization and GMA Artist Center, Miss World Philippines 2019 Michelle Marquez Dee was given her Official Sendoff/Presscon for Miss World 2019 at the Nanka Japanese Steakhouse in Mother Ignacia, QC.
Present to give messages of well-wishes and cheers are her National Director Arnold Vegafria, MWP General Manager Arnold Mercado, Simoun Ferrer of GMA Artist Center, fellow Queens Kelley Day/Glyssa Perez/Isabelle de Leon/Katrina Llegado/Mary Daena Resurreccion brother Abraham Lawyer and actress Max Collins. It would have been complete with the presence of her mother Melanie Marquez but the latter had to excuse herself due to a strict taping schedule of her ongoing teleserye on GMA7.
Michelle will depart for London this coming Tuesday, November 19. She will join more than a hundred delegates who will vie for the blue crown and will stay there till the finals on December 14.

Owing to the current political unrest in Bolivia, Reina Hispanoamericana 2019 has been postponed indefinitely to avoid any safety/security issues for the candidates – a good move actually from the organizers.
In this regard, our Reina Hispanoamericana Filipinas 2019 Katrina Llegado will be staying in Toronto, Canada for the meantime or until an greenlight advise has been given by the RH officials.
