JEWEL OF THE PHILIPPINES 2016, Natasha Angela Lim Manuel is set to represent the Philippines at the MISS ASEAN PAGEANT 2017 to be held in Vietnam from June 14- July 1, 2017.
The 2017 edition of the Miss ASEAN Pageant is in celebration of the 50 golden years of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations. Vietnam is also hosting this year’s ASEAN Youth Festival, a grand event where the Ms ASEAN candidates will also be part of.
A total of 30 delegates (3 delegates per asean country) will vie for the crown to be held at Sao Mai Theatre, Tuy Hoa City, Phu Yen, Vietnam on July 1, 2017.
Anyways, more than a few pageant watchers may tend to belittle JDV’s efforts to come up with his own brand of beauty queens for the nationals. You really need to give him credit where it is due. This is true labor of love, an unending passion if you will. And with the common vision to give the Philippines world-class beauties for global pageantry, all camps deserve a salute.
Best of luck to all JDV Girls for Bb. Pilipinas 2017! 🙂
Twenty three (23) Fashion Designers have been tasked to dress up twenty (20) of the contestants plus the three (3) hosts. And the city is really pulling out all stops to make this one grand feast for the eyes.
If you are in Ilocos Sur this weekend, make sure that you watch the gathering of beauties!
PS. Keep in mind the “no-selfie” policy that will be strictly enforced to everyone! 😉
And so, her mentor John dela Vega was fortunate enough to get the franchise for Miss City Tourism 2017 which will happen in Taizhou, China from December 27, 2016-January 19, 2017. He appointed Jean to be the Philippine representative to the same.
And tomorrow, Jean is scheduled to fly to the host city with the aim of becoming the winner of Miss City Tourism. Our best wishes to this tall and lovely lass who deserves to wear the Philippine sash abroad. 🙂
October 19 was like Jeslyn Santos day in the Province of Bulacan as the newly-crowned Miss United Continents 2016 was given her well-deserved hero’s welcome and motorcade that started from the Bulacan Provincial Capitol including alma mater Bulacan State University and worked its way to the Municipality of Paombong en route to the final stop – the Municipality of Hagonoy – where our Pride was born and raised.
Jeslyn was met by Bulacan Governor Willy Sy Alvarado and Vice-Governor Daniel Fernando before the motorcade started. Then it was a big parade that reached a feverish pitch the minute the float arrived in Hagonoy where Mayor Amboy Manlapaz greeted her and gave a big reception attended by many local officials, loved ones and friends. Here are more photos from the whole day affair courtesy of the Municipality of Hagonoy.
Congratulations once more, Miss United Continents 2016! 😀
Jeslyn will donate part of her cash winnings to Red Cross, as she herself stated. And aside from this arrival presscon, a separate Victory Party will be hosted on her behalf this coming October 1.
From all of us here at normannorman.com, let me congratulate you once more for a job well done.
