(L-R) Kim de Guzman (2nd Runner-Up), Mira Mae Dimmerling (1st Runner-Up), Janelle Olafson (Ms. Eco-Tourism Philippines 2011), Kevin Donnelly (Mr. Eco-Tourism Philippines 2011), Benj Bolivar (1st Runner-Up) and Martin Flores (2nd Runner-Up).
Two mixed breeds came out victorious and landed themselves the titles of Mr. & Ms. Eco-Tourism Philippines The Mossimo Bikini Summit Edition 2011 during the competition’s finals at Canyon Cove in Nasugbu, Batangas. Kevin Donnelly, 18 and Janelle Olafson, 21 were proclaimed winners. The finals was scheduled last Saturday, but got heavily rained on way into the middle such that the announcement of winners was made the following night.
Donnelly, a Filipino-Scottish hunk by way of Australia and Olafson, a Fil-Am model and showbiz wannabe (she joined the last ediiton of GMA-7’s Starstruck but did not make it to the finalists), defeated 30 other male and female candidates to become this year’s Mossimo Bikini Summit winners. Their court includes First Runners-Up Benj Bolivar and Mira Mae Dimmerling and Second Runners-Up Martin Flores and Kim de Guzman. I’m not sure yet if there will be any international competition for the top finishers, but this event has always been a springboard to a career in film and TV just like what happened to the likes of Carlo Maceda, Jordan Herrera, Andrew Smith, John Lopez, Rachelle Ann Bustamante and Jiro Shirakawa.
Congratulations to the winners! 😉
