Since today will be the Press Presentation of Bb. Pilipinas 2018, I thought it would be fitting to make a Wayback Wednesday entry of the 2017 event held March 22, 2017. The video clip above showed all of last year’s Binibinis in identical Jeffrey Rogador two-piece swimsuits during the opening number.

Now, if only a Darling of the Press would be voted upon, then I reckon that one of these ten (10) contenders will get the attention of members of the media:

Designer Jeffrey Rogador is in-charge of the Swimsuits for Bb. Pilipinas 2017

BPCI continues with its promise of promoting local designers in the nationals. For the swimsuit requirements of Bb. Pilipinas 2017, Designer Jeffrey Rogador was selected to provide the colorful two-piece creations worn by the Binibinis during yesterday’s Press Presentation.

What inspired Jeffrey to come up with the design and all?

“The inspiration is summer.

They (BPCI) requested bright and happy colors….

I have to mix my DNA as a Designer which is Urban Wear…..young and modern. I used color blockins, fabric blockins and cutout detailing…

There will be more designs coming up as I was asked to do 5-6 sets of swimsuits for all the candidates this year.”

I actually asked media people around for their feedback regarding the swimwear and all of them agreed that it had excellent fit on the body of the Binibinis and highlighted their shapely curves even more.

As you can see, Jeffrey is holding on to his commitment to the organization. Don’t you agree, dear readers?

When you get to watch the opening billboard of Bb. Pilipinas 2016 on April 17 Coronation Night, the clips will be from this particular filming and photoshoot of the forty (40) Official Candidates at the inviting pool area of Novotel Manila Araneta Center. Wearing colorful geometrically aztec-designed swimwear from the summer collection of Jeffrey Rogador, they flashed their sexy bodies and gave best efforts to shine individually

I am loving the photos of some of the ladies here, particularly Binibini 38 Angelica Alita, Binibini 39 Sissel Ria Rabajante and Binibini 4 Kimberle Mae Penchon.

wpid-wp-1433377495747.jpeg In the just-concluded Philippine Fashion Week Holiday 2015 at the SM Aura Premier, professional fashion models were not the only ones who negotiated the runway for some of the designers who participated. Even a few of our Bb. Pilipinas titleholders took part in the same. Perfect examples are Miss Universe runners-up Venus Raj and Shamcey Supsup-Lee who wore the creations of their dear friend Cherry Samuya Veric. And then there is also Bb. Pilipinas 2015 1st Runner-Up Hannah Ruth Sison who was booked in not just one, but three separate gigs for designers Jeffrey Rogador, Jian Lasala and Boyet Dysangco.

In the images by Bruce Casanova and John Co below, it just goes to show that our beauty queens can be as fierce in the catwalk as they are on the pageant stage.
